Ah my maths is way out! Yes I guess they could well be early - though I know someone who had twins recently and went to full term.

Leftwingharpie · 19/07/2012 14:56

Blimey! Shock

LookAtHerGo · 19/07/2012 15:08

Oh, we'll that's nice to know minipie :)

Yes, blimey indeed. :)

bebejones · 19/07/2012 16:07

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shock

Sqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel!!!!!

Massive congrats LAHG!! :o

You are the 4th person I know currently expecting twins!!!! Definitely something in the water!

So what is their due date? (Based on full term?) What did OH say? Have you told your family yet?!

LookAtHerGo · 19/07/2012 16:55

Well it's not exact as it was difficult to get accurately dated. Edd is roughly feb 15th. Oh was cool, he is thinking all the practicalities and stuff.

Quodlibet · 19/07/2012 17:27

Oh my god, that's AMAZING news LAHG! Double congratulations to you! Do you know if it's identical or non-identical?

LookAtHerGo · 19/07/2012 19:24

Thanks quod.

Not a clue to be honest, they are in separate sacs, but that's not a definite indicator apparently. I think we'll ask more next week. :)

Leftwingharpie · 19/07/2012 20:22

Had to post and run earlier but I'm back now, still gob smacked! LAHG I thought you were going to say ha ha only joking - and then you didn't! Wow I bet you and OH are still reeling from the shock! Grin

Congratulations! Grin

Quodlibet · 19/07/2012 20:51

In other news, don't think we will get much TTC done this cycle as our jobs have us in separate countries again and not docking at Ovulation Station at the same time, boooo!

strawberrypie · 19/07/2012 21:11

Congratulations LAHG! OMG twins! 3 under 2!

LookAtHerGo · 19/07/2012 21:38

Definitely not joking Harpie :) thanks.

Oh poo Quod, fingers crossed for next month.

Yep strawberry, not only that, but 3 under 18months! I must be mad :) thanks

Leftwingharpie · 20/07/2012 09:24

Well it's not like you chose it LAHG! It will be lovely to have three so close together when they're a bit older, all able to enjoy similar things and play together.

bebejones · 20/07/2012 10:04

So what now then LAHG? Will you have to have lots of extra appointments and scans? Are you planning on finding out the sexes? Exciting times ahead! Have you told any family yet?

LookAtHerGo · 20/07/2012 18:59

Yeah harpie, it will all be quite cool.

Yep bebe, serial scans, I think every 4 weeks, because they can't keep an eye on measurements and hb like they can with a singleton. We will find out sex if we can. Yep. We've actually now told LOADS of people. Work however still don't know, that's the fun thing for next week!

It's a debate over when and where we might move to as well, as we are in a 2 bed apartment. Defo not 3 children friendly!

Leftwingharpie · 21/07/2012 08:07

Morning all! Am completely knackered, went over to see my mum and dad last night and had a takeaway. DH got quite pissed as I was driving and on the way home begged me to call in on some friends of ours. This was about 11.30pm. Went round to theirs and DH had more drinks with them while I had a coffee. Then he invites them back to ours, which they accepted even though I said come if you want by all means but I am going to bed.

Came back here and DH pours rum and cokes all round. I'm on "rum and cokes". Then they start on the whisky shots, which I decline to everyone's loud disappointment. At 3am I crawled into bed and I just woke now as they were leaving! We've got some friends coming round this evening for a drinking session, so I've no idea how I'm going to hold up. Not sure I'm happy DH has done this tbh. I know he's not pg so why would he not carry on as normal, but I am a bit Envy cause I clearly won't be partying for a while.

LookAtHerGo · 21/07/2012 10:27

Oh that's a bit rough. I think you need to explain exactly how tiring pg is and that while you have no prob with him still drinking you can't be expected to stay up so late, etc etc. I hope you aren't too knackered today x

Leftwingharpie · 21/07/2012 15:09

I think he shouldn't have pressured me to continue the night - but I shouldn't have agreed it was stupid. I guess I need to get used to my new limitations and not try to carry on as before. Going to have a duvet day.

Leftwingharpie · 22/07/2012 01:04

Well it's 1am and I'm rudely sloping off to bed. I'm going to have alienated all my friends before we get to 12 weeks.

Quodlibet · 22/07/2012 06:40

Hello all

Well I am an Aunty! Sister's baby born at 5.55 this morning after a long labour, but everyone is fine. Can't wait to pop down in a couple of hours and meet my niece, who looks gorgeous.

We are all still in the middle of decorating her flat - we were up til midnight last night painting the lounge, and the bathroom still isn't plumbed in fully - eeeek! So lots of work to do today to make it habitable.

Leftwingharpie · 22/07/2012 09:49

Quod that's amazing news! I bet you can't wait to get round there! Is she in the hospital presumably, if you were all painting the flat? What's her name?

My friend who was round last night has a niece who's four months old and she couldn't say enough how amazing she was and how much she loves her. I'm so excited for you!

minipie · 23/07/2012 11:28

Congratulations Aunty Quod! Decorating her flat is such a lovely thing to do, hope you get it done in time.

LookAtHerGo · 23/07/2012 15:03

Ah, congratulations quod, being an auntie is fab stuff :) hope your sis is ok.

Quodlibet · 23/07/2012 16:51

Thank you people! She is scrummy little thing - just slept through the whole of yesterday's visit as she was a bit wiped out from the labour, but on my way now for another visit and hopefully will get some awake baby action. My sis isn't discharged til tomorrow which has given the decorating team another couple of day's grace to get the flat ready - honestly it is real skin-of-the-teeth stuff, but luckily my sister seems remarkably calm about the fact that she effectively moved house and gave birth on the same day.

Leftwingharpie · 23/07/2012 22:11

Oooooh Auntie Quod I've just seen the Facebook pictures and she looks absolutely gorgeous! Can't believe I've actually got one of those growing inside me right now!

It sounds like the decorating committee is doing a wonderful job. Keep up the good work! Grin
