Where is that thread I saw re Paypal sending emails saying "New address added"??

I'm sure I saw a thread saying this the other day. It's happening to me.. I have had two emails from Paypal saying I have added an new address (and the new address i have supposedly added is my existing one!). When I went on my Paypal address info there is only my one existing address showing.

Bit worried in case some one is hacking into my Paypal account as it is directly linked to my bank account.

Can any one advise or link me to the thread where someone else was having the same problem?

Thanks

SJ x (on DS's lap top for first tiem.. ohhh this is weird! What freedom! I can surk in the bath if I want to! )

this one?

They're all the same. Spammy con tricks.

SleepyJess · 22/01/2006 22:05

Not sure if that was the one of not Squarer but thanks. Have forwarded the emails to the spoof paypal address anyway.

By the way I am back on normal pc.. clearly I am only capable of typing complete bollocks on a lap top..!

I got one of these today with my current address, does anyone know what its all about?

SleepyJess · 22/01/2006 22:17

I will let you know when I hear back from them Charliecat. Am nervous about the existence of my Ebay account now.. almost want to get rid of even though we use it such a lot what with our compulsive Ebay habit..!

I've forwarded my email onto Paypal and I've just looked at the address Paypal has on file for me.It's showing my home address twice on their files,so I don't think(and I hope not)that it's anything to worry about.I'm always paranoid anyway as I've already been a victim of fraud.I always remove my card details from Paypal as soon as I pay for something, just incase.
Have also checked my bank account and nothing extra has been withdrawn, only what I bought tonight.

Thanks Nellie-so much for my reasoning.
It was strange though as the email I got didn't ask for any details-it was just to inform me a new address had been added.Of course, this address is the one they've always had.
I might change my password anyway, just incase.
