Hello Ladies,

Here is the 4th WIIT thread for our enjoyment.

Stats will have to follow at a later date, as I can't check back to see where everyone is accurately at the moment.

Get posting and lets see where this thread takes us. :)

But you don't have to win anything - in this situation just making him aware that you feel the things you do is enough of an end-goal in the short-term. You need to give him the responsibility to take your feelings into consideration and make changes - but he can't do that if you don't tell him! I know you protect him from stress as much as you can, but it sounds like you're reaching the end of your ability to cope with how self-involved he's being - and I think he really needs to know that. You might not 'win' in terms of everything you would like to change changing overnight, but by making sure he knows that you feel he's not taking you two into account the way he should do, you shift the balance and change something a little bit. He has to recognise your feelings!

bebejones · 02/04/2012 14:26

Only if the elephant wuld be willing to sit on him!! Wink

Spoken to him & yet again he's dealing with some mega mega shitty work stuff so couldn't really bring it up, he asked if the shopping had arrived & I just said it had. It's just not worth the argument.

100years · 03/04/2012 19:32

Bebe, maybe you should neglect to order things for him next time and shitty tasting stuff and say well it's what you did to me last time so I thought you liked these brands. And smile innocently. Sorry he was such a many sod about the rehearsal.

Yep harpie good, glad you are ok about the result just now. P'ing OAS obviously brought AF out of hiding!

Quod I know what you mean about not getting of as soon as the contraception is ditched, although I was second month of trying it's a slightly odd concept that it doesn't just happen like that. You must be next then to poas, I am only on CD 19 I think. My cycles all over the place, I'm not even sure we've dtd at the right time. Great news on the review. :)

Well LO is in her own room. We've had two nights of her being in her own room and I've been up to her 5 times on each night, I actually went to bed myself at 9 last night as I was just so tired. I'm hoping she will settle down, tbh it's probably that she's waking the same amount as she was but I wasn't up and down to her so I was awake a lot less than I am now.

Hi all, long time no speak!

Quod spotted my news on another thread and prompted me to come and fish for congratulations share on here. I'm pregnant! BFP last week. Will be 5 weeks tomorrow so still v early days, hoping nothing goes wrong.

quod and 100 best of luck with your ttcing. quod when can you poas?

harpie can't believe TBT has come round already. v exciting. and deffo better not to be pg - imagine all that Californian wine you'd miss out on. Is DH willing to ttc when you get back? I have lost track!

bebe I'd be pretty Hmm if DH bought loads of treats for himself and nothing for me - especially if we were short of cash. Have you told him how it makes you feel?

leftwingharpie · 04/04/2012 17:23

Omg omg omg omg omg! Quod you better get in here and open the box of tricks at once and let the biggest elephant parade the world has ever seen commence!

I am so pleased for you, it really took such a long time. It's all going to be so so worth it though. Congratulations!

leftwingharpie · 04/04/2012 17:25

Where is everyone?

minipie · 04/04/2012 17:42

thank you harpie!! we haven't told anyone in RL yet except my mum so it is lovely to get congratulations

I am v nervous that it won't stick - the statistics are pretty worrying, apparently 20-25% miscarry pre-12 weeks and it's 45% if you have PCOS (like me...) Shock so am trying not to get too excited just yet but have nonetheless calculated due date and picked out baby names already

Hope you can all join me soon!

Quodlibet · 04/04/2012 17:46

BAAAAAADDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Yes is is wonderful news! Hurrah for a BFP (it's been so very long for us in this forgotten corner of MN)

Got everything crossed for you - it's amazing news.

minipie · 04/04/2012 17:54

Funny you should mention Ode to the BFP.... I spent quite a lot of last week singing "Two Lines on a Stick" to the tune of "Three Lions on a Shirt" Blush

Thanks both Smile

leftwingharpie · 04/04/2012 19:03

mummypie it's 15% after 6 weeks though (not sure about with PCOS)!

When is due date?

Lol @ "forgotten corner of Mumsnet"! We were on active convos the other day, we're practically MN royalty!

100years · 04/04/2012 21:05

Yay yay yay a BFP I hoped it was when I saw the beginning of you post in my threads I'm watching. Woohoo :) another WIIT baby, and boy they're cute in here :) shameless boasting here. Congrats :)

I won't be POAS for at least a week or maybe 10 days, I seriously have no idea where I am in terms of if I'm ovulating, I'm CD20 or 21 today, so a week off yet.

Wink

Yay Mini!! Whoop!!!! Has to be said we WIITs do seem to make exceedingly cute kids! :o (Even though DD isn't technically a 'WIIT' baby I like to think of her as an adopted older sibling to all the littlies! :o) So when is MiniMini due? And what are your name choices at the moment! SO exciting!!!!

DH has had a better day at work, some of the pressure has eased (a miniscule amount) and there has been a tiny tiny bit of good news. Hoping this will result in a peaceful & relaxing Easter weekend...although MIL is descending upon us on Monday! Hmm

DDs ballet show tomorrow! I can't wait, DH is less than enthused!

Quodlibet · 05/04/2012 09:20

Good luck MiniBebe! Is this her first performance? It's a rite of passage. Glad there's been a little ease up for you.

minipie · 05/04/2012 11:06

Morning!

Thanks for the 15% stat harpie that's really reassuring. I'll be 6 weeks next Tuesday so hope the bean hangs on in there till then at least...!

MiniMini is due on 8th Dec. So chances are, he/she will be late and arrive just in time for christmas ....!

A few ideas on names although DH is Not Being Cooperative so there may need to be some negotiation on that front. Does the Gruffalo do baby name-pressure or only TTC-pressure?

If I get one as cute as the other WIIT babies I'll be very happy Grin

bebejones · 05/04/2012 11:41

Quod - yes, first performance, at 3 years and 8 months (nearly)! Starting as she means to go on!! She's a little perfomer & loves the attention!! They do a little dance in the first half (the whole ballet school is doing the show, Sleeping Beauty), DD is a 'songbird'. Then they come on at the end to 'wave and smile'! Show starts at 7 (DDs usual bedtime) and finishes about 9.30-45, late night for the tiny human tonight! Can't wait, hope she loves being on stage as much as I used to! (no pressure...I will not be one of those mothers!! Wink)

Mini - Christmas baby! :) Plus you won't be too big during the hot summer we are supposed to be getting! Hmm

leftwingharpie · 05/04/2012 14:28

Mini you may as well give him a shot at baby name pressure, he's practically useless at TTC pressure! Grin

strawberrypie · 05/04/2012 18:42

Big congratulations on the BFP minipie! Fantastic news!

strawberrypie · 05/04/2012 18:45

Oh and I hope you get a better night tonight 100, I'm sure it will be all worth it when little E is used to her room and letting you get 8 hours! (that does happen at some point, right?) :)

100years · 05/04/2012 20:59

Brill stuff bebe, hope it all goes well, nice rest tomorrow as well :)

Thanks strawberry, apparently they do sleep through at some point :) Last night was only 3 times up :) but LO has been off colour today and a few little sicky episodes, not like big vomiting like when she was ill last time, but sick nonetheless. We were supposed to be going away for a few days, but cancelled because if it is a bug we don't want to pass it on to the other kids we were due to see and it's better to deal with sick at home. OH is still going because he's going to a concert. I'm hoping it's nothing and just her getting used to all the foods she's been having. But I'm not hopeful for a quiet night!

bebejones · 06/04/2012 00:05

Such a proud mummy tonight! Tiny human is such a little star! Grin

Will catch up properly in the morning, just overflowing with pride and needed to let some of it out! Wink

100 - poor E, hope your night is not too rough and that she's better soon x

leftwingharpie · 06/04/2012 00:55

Hooray for tiny human!!!

minipie · 06/04/2012 07:44

aww bebe glad the performance went well. have you got any photos?

100 hope E feels better soon (and you get to sleep)!

thanks for the congrats strawberry!

bebejones · 06/04/2012 11:31

Morning all!

Don't have any photos of DD, have to buy them Hmm so will see if they have any of her tomorrow. Have ordered the DVD of the show so she will love that!

100 - How is little E doing today?

Mini - Gruffalo might help, he's been a tad lazy lately

Got a parking ticket outside my house today...marvellous start to the holiday weeked! Hmm I'm sure they have come down our road to do it today as they knew people would be parked outside their houses instead of being at work. We live in a large village, it's not exactly a bustling city centre!! Angry

Quodlibet · 07/04/2012 10:24

AF is here....booo! This means no 2012 delivery for me. We'll definitely have a couple of months off from the TTC now and try again in June, if we are ever in the same place at the same time in June.

So who's doing something nice this weekend? DP is rehearsing today and tomorrow (again, booo) but we're having a nice day with friends on Monday.

bebejones · 07/04/2012 12:40

[busmile] [bugrin] [buwink] [bushock] [buhmm] [buconfused] [bublush] [buangry] [busad] [buenvy] [bubiscuit]

HOW cute are they? Love the Easter smileys!

Booooooo for AF & working DP Quod! But maybe we might possibly both have a 2013 baby...I can dream right?!
