Ds's ELC castle has gone missing during delivery. Furious.

Ordered it and some accessories about 2 weeks ago, the accessories arrived really quickly but the castle still hasn't arrived, so I called them today and they have confirmed that the couriers they use have it listed as a missing item.

ELC accept liability and have offerred me a refund but I really want the castle for ds for Christmas and they've sold out They tried calling my 4 nearest stores but they have sold out too.

Am waiting for a manager to call me back as I am very cross

Am thinking I will ask them to call ever ELC until they locate me one. What do you reckon?

Sorry - went to the park this afternoon with ds. No - they haven't called me, and I left them my mobile number as I knew I was going out.

Have started a log now of phone calls and names of who I spoke to as I can feel a complaint letter coming on

sorry the service from elc direct is rubbish. i ordered 2 playmobil sets for ds2 and apparently they were delivered and left in a secure place!! needless to say i can't find them, so they sent them out again and agaian they haven't turned up, so asked for them to be delivered tot eh local store, which they have done and i have colleted them so at last ds2 will get his noahs ark and aeroplane!

Good result here - the pink castle was taxied over, as promised, and arrived about ½ an hour after the phone call. So I'm well pleased. Do hope that you all manage to get your castles.

Well here I am sat indoors waiting for the castle, they have an other 30 minutes before I pick up the phone and start the hassling procedure all over again.

Not to my knowledge, they were supposed to ring her back yesterday and they didn't. I rather suspect she is being too nice about it.
I am a credit manager in RL, and can tie people up in knots on the phone, if I think they are lying to me.

I called them at 9am this morning and asked to speak to a customer services manager, they said they were very busy doing call backs (Lots of unsatisfied customers eh?) and promised they would call me back.

Now 2 hours later still no call.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Been on the phone now for 11 minutes. 'we apologise for the delay, we will be with you as soon as possible....'

Got through and asked to speak to a customer services manager again. In was told that they are 'unable' to put me through all they do is ask them to call me back.

AAArghhhhhhh............

Lets see what time they get round to calling me back today.

What you say is that you will not get off the phone until you can speak to a manager and you will be sending them your phone bill so they can refund you the calls.

Ask the manager if he would like to talk to your DS and tell him that he wont be getting his castle on Christmas Day

Also ask if he could give you some guidlines as to what to say on Christmas day, when your DS thinks that FC doesn't love him or that FC does not think he has been a good enough boy.

I am so dim sometimes, CAT me and I will give you the name of the person/persons who sorted mine out.

I have their extension numbers as well.

And when you ring up, don't explain yourself to anyone else, just insist on speaking to these people.
