Being a bit nosey,so how much was it that you're wearing right now.The other day I wore over 100 pounds worth of outfit and another day it was only 20 odd pounds due to my mum giving me a top.Today I shall be mostly wearing something worth 89 pounds,a fat face sweat, jeans and new shoes 29 pounds in the sale.

I cant get to sleep unless i am completely naked. Makes it a bit awkward when your sharing a room

Maudy · 09/10/2003 17:28

Oh and I wear knicks in bed as well!!

sunchowder · 09/10/2003 17:32

All of you are wonderful!

CD: Ziti are beautiful short tube pasta cut on an angle and they usually have little lines in them, pefect for bracelets!

Now for all those who wear knickers to bed, how does your little " " ever get any freash air? She needs to breathe once and a while right? And she never gets to see anything! Mine gets to see the carpets and the tile and grout and the wood and the little dust bunnies (she loves dust bunnies, she told me that). So no one on this thread was ever afraid of snakes coming up through the toilet? Oh God, you don't even have snakes in England, that was stupid, how about mice?

FF: Don't ask me how I knew you had to sleep naked.

janh · 09/10/2003 17:34

I am gasping at bogwoppit's jewellery!

(Mind you I have £2-£3000 worth on too - it's me watch!)

(Sorry - that's from an ooooold joke about betting you can predict the gate at the next England game.)

janh · 09/10/2003 17:34

no mice in our toilets, sunchowder.

Rats, maybe.

janh · 09/10/2003 17:35

sunchowder, your double posting wasn't 30 mins later, it was precisely an hour. Is that weird?

forestfly · 09/10/2003 17:36

Ziti = Penne ?

janh · 09/10/2003 17:38

sounds about right, ff! I wonder why it gets a different name over there?

forestfly · 09/10/2003 17:39

I am scared to death of water rats coming up the toilet. Sometimes i panic and have to jump up mid flow. Also i cant take the plug out of the bath untill im out of it, something might jump out. These are genuine phobias its making me feel sick just thinking about it

CountessDracula · 09/10/2003 17:40

Have changed to take dd to doc so am now wearing
Horrible black trousers that are too big for me from M&S
Horrible grey tshirt too big for me M&S
Same boots
Black Mexx mac type thing
NO watch as busted
same ring

WHY are all my clothes too big or too small?

CountessDracula · 09/10/2003 17:41

Forestfly, my dh has that phobia (rats in loo) Once caught him putting the hoover on the loo to prevent the rats coming up (we lived on 4th floor lol!)

fio2 · 09/10/2003 17:42

oh god!!!we've got a mouse under the stairs would it really be about to run up there?

forestfly · 09/10/2003 17:45

A hoover? I hope it wasnt plugged in!

forestfly · 09/10/2003 17:45

Fio2 get your knickers on quick!!!!!!

sunchowder · 09/10/2003 17:46

Fio2 - ONLY WHEN THEY ARE THRISTY!! I am so glad that someone else has this phobia--we will all probably find out that we were potty trained much too early or something like that. I remember being a bit scared about that gugling sound that came from the toilet...

CD: I wear things with elastic in them and long draping dresses for just this reason--I am up and down 25 pounds all of the time (do you think it is something I ate?). I am running to store on errands during my lunch. I'll be back!

sunchowder · 09/10/2003 17:47

I think CD meant putting something heavy (like the hoover) on the lid you two!

Spod · 09/10/2003 18:03

freebie Virgin airline sweat pants - all that fits!
bra top - M&S 10 in sale
knickers - about a quid
jumper - about a fiver
no socks... can't reach!
so about 16 quid - mind you i aint looking good in it!!!

CnR · 09/10/2003 18:03

Been at work so wearing black suit:

Jacket = £80 from Next
Skirt = £40 from Next
Balck boots = £40 from Next
Black vest top = £15 from Gap

So about £175 I think it adds up to, without undies and accessories/jewellery anyway.

janh · 09/10/2003 18:04

fio, I think mice prefer kitchens to bathrooms (bet that makes you feel loads better!)

sunchowder, thanks for the clarification about the hoover - I thought CD meant in too!

florenceuk · 09/10/2003 18:15

I'm wearing t-shirt and trousers from Uniqlo = £6+£15 - so very cheap! And so is my jewellery - watch = £70, underwear is very old so priceless.

Have always worn knickers in bed - is it some sort of strange English thing not to?

fisil · 09/10/2003 18:49

Dress from East warehouse sale: £6
Cardi from M&S: £19
Thick tights from M&S: £5
Knicks, haven't checked, but must be M&S: £1
Slippers (oh, those cold winter evenings): £10
Watch from Debenhams: £18
Tights on head in case phone rings: £1

Wow, just £60. East Sale & M&S, where would I be without you?

fio2 · 09/10/2003 18:50
