Hi SWI congratulations on your BFP that was a bit naughty stringing us along! I have got an OV line on my chart but I put it in myself. My temps are all over the place anyway and as I forgot to take my thermometer with me when we went away - just at the crucial time - I only have Persona to go on. Obviously I've been googling like mad and it seems the chances of a pg resulting from BD the day after the second peak day are almost non-existent. Bloody hell.

Quod you poor thing playing second fiddle to DH's job all the time. It must be infuriating. My DH spent half our honeymoon on his laptop so I know how you feel. Work is like that though, my job's got an iron vice grip on me most of the time and I'm always having to let DH know I'm going to be late and stuff. It's awful to be trapped like that so I have some sympathy for you both.

Squirrel congratulations on the birth of mini squirrel! That was a nice surprise! Hope things are going well can't wait to hear more once you've got your breath back!

Whywait all your boys names are fab! You've got plenty to choose from for your Ultimate Shortlist! Choosing the name is such a good bit. It's all definitely real when you start on the super practical stuff like what name to choose! Don't let anyone influence you!

I remember that tired feeling! Before I was signed off with morning noon & night sickness, I was getting home from work, eating dinner & going to bed about 7.30!!

Did you wait to tell DH in person or did you call him? What did he say when you told him? :)

It sounds a bit cheesy but I waited until he got home and then before he has his supper I gave him a gift box with a little pressie for him in the top and then under the tissue paper was the HPT and this (the "cheeky monkey" one in beige.

He didn't believe it at first as I think he was expecting it to take us longer but he was really happy and keeps on grinning at me!!!

Sorry I can't bear the sight of my name back at the bottom of the waiting list with the words "soon hopefully" written next to it. I'm counting this as our my first month of trying and writing off the inevitable arrival of AF to bad timing.

After all DH tried to impregnate me on three separate occasions, just sadly not at the right time. Fertility Friend is suggesting I OV on CD19, it obviously doesn't rate the Persona monitor!

Hi all! Still haven't caught up properly, except to say congratulations swi :-D what fantastic news!

Things are good here, I'm back home being looked after by DH who is being great! The induction was surprisingly calm - two days of not much happening (using gel to get me started). Once I was dilated enough they broke my waters which didn't help much, so I was hooked up to the drip. That made things painful quite quickly so i had an epidural (amazing pain relief!). Things progressed quickly from there and I had her a few hours later. They kept me in hospital for a couple of nights to help establish breastfeeding - apparently important for GD mums to feed well) and now I'm home!

But she needs feeding so off I go :)

I am just reading about the horrors of childbirth over on the other thread. It sounds like you had a long slog. Was it ok?

Lovely to hear that you are home with LO and that daddy is looking after you both. Are you having lots of visitors? x

Absolutely no symptoms whatever . Boobs not sore no matter how much I prod them. I am knackered but that is more likely to be due to lack of sleep from a horrible work schedule and a long weekend away with mates!

SPR if I am pg, I will be really hoping you are right about nothing passing to the foetus at this stage - since I spent most of the weekend drinking wine and eating runny cheese ... I couldn't really avoid those things without having to 'fess up to TTCing!

14DPO sounds ok to me. I think my first CBD was on 12DPO and then I did another yesterday on 14DPO before going to my GP appointment.

I think everybody has different symptoms and at differing times. I read somewhere that the nausea, tiredness and sore boobs often don't happen until 6 weeks so maybe I'm the odd one!!!

SPD did your 12DPO CBD produce a +ve then? I've only got cheapy tests though so they might be crap less sensitive. Maybe have to fork out for a CBD...

On the symptoms, I have had lightheadedness and (TMI) a bit of a blocked up tummy which I gather can be pg symptoms ...

So AC is DH still making positive noises about next month since you have put yourself firmly in the TTC camp?

Ah you said you had no symptoms so I thought better not to push for early testing. Now you have symptoms it's a different kettle of fish!

Yes I was a bit mad trying to get pg the month of our Ibiza trip I'm kind of glad DH managed to resist me said no!
