Wow Squirrel! That is super exciting that you will be going in for a induction this week. I can't even begin to imagin how excited you are feeling about meeting mini squirrel!!

Squirrel, that's so ridiculously exciting. Best of luck to you over the next few days, can't believe you're going to come back with a real life baby! Like SWI I can't begin to imagine how you might feel (has anyone read the 'first thoughts' thread? Awww.)

SWI can't believe you've made it across the starting line and are suffering from TTCer's nipple. I have no idea how you don't obsess about it 24/7. Sending good luck to you for this month.

Well I'm having my first half-day off for 14 days! My show was on over the weekend and went really really well, apart from being rained off on Friday evening. One more show to go on Tuesday and then the team disbands. I'm really going to miss them all, I've had probably the best month ever. Doesn't hurt that it's involved being in a room with several impressively fit and pretty men doing impressively muscular things all day . I'll miss it!

That said I'm going to go outside and enjoy the sun for a bit!

SWI step... away... from... the... tests... I am into my 2ww now, though about a week behind I think, so will join you in the not testing pact!

AC don't wait for the EWCM! many women (incl me) never really have much and they get pg fine. go leap on DH! Assuming he's not still having FOF fits of course.

Quick question for the gang: What do you/did you do about eating "forbidden" foods during your 2WW? I realise I ate salami, brie and a runny egg yesterday and am feeling guilty in case I've accidentally poisoned a yet-undetected mini-minipie. (Minisquaredpie?) I'm drinking alcohol too... not loads but more than I would if pg. Any thoughts?

WOW Squirrel that is SO exciting!!! Eeeek! Take plenty of stuff to read/ipod, and snacks, the hospital shops/restaurants aren't always open at the point when your OH might need food when things get 'interesting' and you don't want him wandering off on a hunter gatherer type mission!! Quod - so pleased project has gone well, must be a relief. Wasn't this the one you were worried you were going to be mega stressed about?

Finger update: It seems alot better. Hurts if I knock it, but I can type & write &, most importantly, paint! Have done sword for friends cake, just working on the figures again now! :)

Treated myself to a new piping nozzle for cupcakes this morning. Can't wait to try it out when it arrives! How sad am I?!

RE: fods and drinks durint the 2WW. I've carried on as normal as I think I'd go insane if I had to stop eating/drinking cheese, pate, rare steak, wine etc for half of the year!! I also read somewhere that the baby doesn't start taking anything from you until 6 weeks so you'd have had a BFP before then.

AC I'm so, so sorry to hear that. I can only imagine how frustrated you must feel - if my DH pulled out I'd be tearing strips off him (not that that would necessarily help). If you want to rant we are here.

AC- gutted for you. What did he say? Was it a 'not now not ever' or a not now but maybe in the future'? I hope you are ok and I am also sending hugs xx don't worry about letting it all out on here- it's what it is for and we all care about you.

SWI- I am not the one to discourage you from excessive HPT usage....no-one could have stopped me! My feeling would be test away if you want to but don't be dissapointed if the early ones are negative. The only down side to my daily testing was I had to do some of the tests on the quiet as OH was in the 'test after the missed period only' camp (boring ) so it was not a shared moment when I got the first dark line. However, I also think a big build up with both of you there can add to the pressure. In short- do whatever makes you happy!
ps I would get some inexpensive tests though so you don't feel too guilty!

quod...........I've got an image of circus performers...........am I close?

Minipie- I was really boring in the 2ww and did not drink alcohol/caffeine (this may have changed though if I had been TTc for longer!) I am not into soft cheese and am a veggie so no pate anyway......I did (and still do, oops) have soft boiled eggs though as long as they are lion stamped. Apparently all British chickens are vaccinated against salmonella so the chances of catching it from an egg are low. You have to decide what you are happy with and go with that :)

bebe I am glad your finger is on the mend! I get exited about anything new, especially if it arrives in a package so you are not sad at all!

It was a not ever. We did get one try in but I'm hoping it was too early. Being pregnant with an unwanted child was never part of the plan. I've been looking at jobs in London.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the good luck wishes :) I have to phone the hospital tomorrow, and from then see how busy it is and when they want me to come in. So hopefully next time I am back on will be with a baby and a cute pic for you all!

minipie I didn't worry about eating forbidden foods - most of the things on the list I don't eat anyway, but I definitely had runny eggs, alcohol and caffeine (and have done during pregnancy too!). The risks are small, but like anything it's a personal choice and you have to be comfortable with it.

Amanda I am so annoyed at your DH! I think everyone is scared to some extent, but his constant dithering is just so unfair to you. Really hope for your sake he will stop with all the faffing around soon.

Oh AC I am furious on your behalf. What is he playing at? It's just not at all reasonable to keep chopping and changing like this. Are you thinking of coming to London without him? Really sorry it's come to this point for you.

Minipie, I'd not change my eating/drinking if I ever got to the point of TTC, it would push me over the edge I'm sure.

Your chart is still looking good SWI! Do you think my morning temp of 35.74 can be right? It seems ludicrously low. I'm wondering if I read it wrong.

36.74 would be much better, it would put ovulation at CD16!

Just to update everyone on DH's madness, apparently I'm to stay off the pill and continue with the diet, sleep regime, grapefruit juice, supplements, Persona monitor and charting because we are going to try next month. Not now when I'm possibly ovulating. Those four more weeks are going to make all the difference.
