yep i hate all taht john boy the 3rd etc too

i broke dh's family tradition of calling children after their fathers middle name (well nearly, we didnt have any boys) other wise if i had had a son it would have been Dewar (over my dead body)

FIL wanted norman!

i know a laura-may and she refuses to let anyone shorten it and it really suits her

also know a Mary-Beth (gets Mez for short

also had a Zadok at university, but since he was incredibly tall, incredibly dark and incredibly good looking, and known as "Zad", I always thought it was the coolest name.

bk, is it not pronounced kate-lynn in the Scottish version? I have met loads of Caitlins since moving here and they have all been pronounced kate-lynn. Maybe it just came into fashion just as I got here though
