Can we have a thread for....

...parping on, without doing it on the thread itself and offending the original poster? Everyone seems so touchy today and I keep needing to stop myself from posting Cod-esque responses. A silent parp is so unsatisfying.

Here's the latest one I wanted to write:

If you are on weight watchers you should not be drinking enormous coffees with cream in.

PARP

Parp!

startingtobepregnantcod · 19/10/2005 20:05

hahahahhahah

i SO wanted to post that too!

frannykenstein · 19/10/2005 20:06

LOL, are you really cod, or starlover? I can't keep up!

OP posts:
startingtobepregnantcod · 19/10/2005 20:07

i am really starlover

but apparently you are allowed to say what you want oif you are pregnant or cod

frannykenstein · 19/10/2005 20:07

Hunker, you have to say which thread you are parping about, or what you wanted to say before you parped yourself.

OP posts:
hunkerpumpkin · 19/10/2005 20:08

Oh, really?

I'm pregnant.

But not Cod.

I usually say what I like though. I'm just more verbose than Cod, so it doesn't look as brusque. And can type better

frannykenstein · 19/10/2005 20:08

I think we are all allowed to say what we want. It's just sometimes such a tough choice between polite and funny

hunkerpumpkin · 19/10/2005 20:09

I know Fran - I just wanted to parp this thread because I thought it was funny.

Not top drawer comedy, I'll grant you. But it's been a long day

Fran, I have that dilemma all the time...

Espcially on "my child's swallowed a coin" panic therads.

I always want to post "Has there been any change?"

No, no, hunker, parping on the thread that annoyed you is so old hat. If you want to parp about this thread, you have to start your own new thread to parp on there, about my parping thread.

Got it?

OP posts:
flamebat · 19/10/2005 20:10

Where's that thread?????? sounds great

frannykenstein · 19/10/2005 20:11

"any change" - boom boom!

OP posts:
hunkerpumpkin · 19/10/2005 20:12

Now whenever you see a thread about swallowed coins, you'll know what I want to be posting

startingtobepregnantcod · 19/10/2005 20:13

ok then if you are overdue and have been in labour for a week you are allowed to slag people off

frannykenstein · 19/10/2005 20:15

Anyway, just use this thread as the receptacle for all your rude and unhelpful responses. Then no-one will ever get upset and we can all live in peace and harmony.

OP posts:
buffytheharpsichordcarrier · 19/10/2005 21:21

hmmm a choice between funny and polite
oh come on girls
it is your sacred duty to be funny
esp you hunker, cos you is my role model

PuffMeHearties · 19/10/2005 21:23

I think cod started up a separate parp thread, but then people got fed up about it.

I still think its funny and I don't care.

buffytheharpsichordcarrier · 19/10/2005 21:28

yes IT IS FUNNY that's why
(who are you PMH?)

PuffMeHearties · 19/10/2005 21:35

puff - I'm just paying homage to the wonderful pirate sex thread

buffytheharpsichordcarrier · 19/10/2005 21:41
