What's the next "make MN unwelcoming" game going to be?

We've had "out the troll" when a newbie posts.

We've had "PARP at the thread" when an oft-posted topic is posted again.

Anyone got any others?

starlover · 24/09/2005 21:12

don't you hate parents who ALWAYS have to have a "memememememeeeeeeeee" thread on mumsnet?

weesaidie · 24/09/2005 21:12

great idea starlover! But make sure you give a big list at the beginning so it really kicks off.

myturn, have you ever been on The Archers MBs?

vickitiredmum · 24/09/2005 21:25

What about a thread called 'Is it appropriate to put disclaimers at the start of a thread so that should the perhaps funny thread turn bad then its not the authors responsibility if people wilfully use excerpts from said thread to alledgedly hurt or bully other MNrs - Discuss"

starlover · 24/09/2005 21:30

you should SO start that!

myturn · 24/09/2005 21:32

? Janh???

Janh · 24/09/2005 21:33

They once picked on "spoons" as a topic to divert and deflect trolls - if something kicked off everybody would jump in, ignore troll and start discussing what kind of spoons were their favourite!

myturn · 24/09/2005 21:36

Aaah - excellent!! We have MrsSpoon as a substitute!

myturn · 24/09/2005 21:36

So our new in-word could be

spoons

along with

4
boden
etc etc

vickitiredmum · 24/09/2005 21:43

should i start it with a disclaimer at the start of it?

vickitiredmum · 24/09/2005 21:47

Done

hunkermunker · 24/09/2005 22:05

Oh, God, not spoons.

Nobody ever see my weaning spoons thread?!
