Wow Aloha, I had no idea you're a celeb.

My TV moment was being interviewed for South Today after finishing a race at a lifeguard championships. I was so knackered I could hardly speak, let alone answer the questions coherently.

spursmum · 25/08/2005 20:10

I was in the front row of the audience for a Brian Conley tv show. You see me about 5 times(cringe). He's really not that funny.

fireflyfairy2 · 25/08/2005 20:11

When it was broadcast I was in it.. sticking my toungue out at the camera... on Monday morning my manager said i must have been sick after all 'cos i looked very "green about the gills" on TV

Yep, used to be an actress in a former life

First appearance, interviewed Spike Milligan when I was 9. Then appeared as a bit part in a couple of films, did a few children's programmes (Booktower, as Sophie in the BFG, and others, can't remember what!), some radio plays, a few educational films (ie the sort they used to bore you with at school), How We Used To Live (remember that?), a pop video (anyone heard of Tanita Tikaram?), Coronation Street (2 episodes) and Emmerdale Farm for about 4 months.

Also appeared in a documentary with dh and the dds about four years ago, about quitting the rat race.

Top that!

the series I was in was about the 1840s, about four children who worked in a mill. I was the eldest one.

Yup. I flamenco danced on Blue Peter when I was 14 and was also on the news once, talking about divorce (from the point of a child involved - although I was 18!).

Most exciting...

weesaidie · 25/08/2005 20:32

Oh and my cousin was on Supermarket Sweep and knocked herself out with an ironing board!

nailpolish · 25/08/2005 20:34

a documentary was made of the edinburgh royal infirmary A&E dept at hogmanay about 15 yrs ago (its the busiest A&E in the UK at hogmanay) and i was working that shift!

very glam

nailpolish · 25/08/2005 20:35

miaou, i think it was jaberwocky at the robbie flashing episode

Posey · 25/08/2005 20:36

Another Songs of Praise person here, but full face for duration of a whole verse of a hymn plus several times in a group shot (I was in one of the choirs although we were in the congregation, not in choir garb). I was 16, it was the mid-80s and the video we have of it is kept well hidden

motherinferior · 25/08/2005 20:36

A bit when I ran the communications for a couple of different voluntary sector organisations.

nailpolish · 25/08/2005 20:37

oh nearly forgot, i was on Jenny Jones whilst on holiday in chicago (in the audience i hasten to add)

spidermama · 25/08/2005 20:38

I was on the beach doing excercises with the Green Goddess when I was a schoolgirl in the eighties. You had to be watching telly at 6.30am to catch me.
No-one did.
Not many people had videos in those days either. Ah well!

My dh is on telly all the time. He's an actor.
