I'm a mum of three young children, trying to juggle an MSc in Psychology alongside part-time work and childcare.
As my final dissertation, I'm conducting research to understand better the relationship between the age of children living at home, parental stress, and menopause symptoms for peri/menopause mothers. I'm looking for mums who could help by completing a short survey.
If you agree to participate, I will ask you to complete a short survey with questions about your peri/menopause symptoms and parental stress.
To take part, you must:
- Be a mother aged 40-60
- Have one or more self-reported perimenopause symptoms
- Have at least one child living at home
- Live in the UK
- Have a good comprehension of the English language
The research will take approximately 5 minutes to complete, and participation is voluntary.

No identifiable data will be collected, and the data you provide will be kept confidential and only used for analysis and reporting. You do not have to answer any question you do not wish to. Once your responses have been submitted, they cannot be withdrawn, as the data is anonymous.
The procedures and methods used in low-risk Psychology research studies, such as the current project, have been reviewed by and approved by the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences Research Ethics Committee (CREC) at Brunel University (Reference: 49733-MA-Sep/2024 - 52918-1).
