I am down the rabbit hole of YouTube.
Just watched a Dominican Priest with a reviewer listening to Sabatons "Templars". He is a classically trained pianist too. Love it when completely different people meet and discuss something one would never ever listen to in real life. He knew all about the Templars of course. Fascinating.
Also watched the "Call to Gather" from the Edinburgh Tattoo, stirring stuff, I love it. Mesmerising how all those pipes and drums March crossways, circles and lines without missing a beat.

I dont usually buy milkshakes but that's not bad @DirtyGertiefromno30

I love that sort of YouTube rabbit hole @Thebookofcarolagain😂. You'd never think a Dominican priest and a classically trained pianist would be sitting discussing Sabaton and the Templars! And l am glad the milkshake was nice . I might get one for Mum to try . I usually make one up forherwithffm8lk and sugar and Galaxy chocolate powder but it's a nuisance to carry . A carton would be much easier . Although l put powdered milk in hers as well but l expect l can put it. That shake too 😁. Watching Benidorm Murder it's a good laugh 🤗

Put the washing out and emptied the dishwasher time to have a cuppa .

I couldn't sleep last night got ip.at 2 and came down for a cuppa and put you tube on with light out and did fall asleep on sofa at some point. Woke at 5 and went back to bed. Got job centre this morning so up again .
Cool and overcast here too.

Had a busy little time to myself.😄
Job centre, chemist done. Had my big coat on as rained and cool!
Have put dishes away and cleaned ip kitchen.
Attacked my little 'coffee table'. Everything just gets dunped there. Washed it all, sorted filing, had look in my garden box and found a little pink pot with a heart on it and used it for my emery boards, pen, lips salves etc. Much more tidy. Threw rubbish out. Filled in my garden diary. Put dates to reorder meds in diary. Then decided to organise my garden box in C.U.S. Threw some stuff out and managed to get it organised and everything basically 'fits in it ' now. Got some stuff that can go outside with other garden pots, saucers, those green multi cells you get plants in. (Useful for seed potting on.) I need to sort out my million bags of seeds hanging up from last year and dump doubles of what I got this year.
Amazed at how productive i have been 🤣🤣
Might have another coffee before I put washing away.😉

Blimey, you have been productive @Thebookofcarolagain! 😂 Considering you hardly slept, I don't know where you've got the energy from. Getting up at 2 for a cuppa and YouTube, then falling asleep on the sofa and back to bed at 5 sounds like a very broken night bless you 😱. Glad the Job Centre wasn't too much of a pain and at least you got the chemist done too. Sounds like you've had a proper little organising frenzy there! 😂 The coffee table, filing, kitchen, garden diary, meds dates and then attacking the garden box as well. Love that little pink heart pot you found too , perfect for all your bits and bobs. You have definitely earned that extra coffee before tackling the washing. 😁👏

Haha, I think you’ve definitely earned a stop now! 🤣 Washing and filing is no small achievement. You can’t be expected to work like a Trojan all day! 😂 And typical, the minute you decide to stop, the sun comes out and makes you feel guilty about not being in the garden! 😆 Sod it, sit down and enjoy your cuppa for a while. The garden will still be there when you’ve had a proper rest.
I bought a little rice cooker and used it for the first time today and it was really good . The rice tastes so different to the pkt rice it's really nice so l made egg fried rice for dinner and it was yummy 😋. Full as eggs now though .

I use basmati rice. (Got a huge bag of it in Aldi months ago) I do 1/2 cup per person or slightly less, double the boiling water, boil for 10 mins with lid on. Comes out perfect almost every time. Thanks Jamie 😄
Had a look outside nothing really to do and it was blooming cold so didn't go out. Actually dozed off for 20 mins watching YouTube.
Chichen salad and crisps for tea. That chichen is definately not as good as mine 😁 Bit soft and mushy in parts somehow, hard to explain. Won't get again. Will stick to roasting them myself.

Oh I found a young lad on you tube with a Chinese food channel. Looked delish so subscribed. No fuss no faff just simple instructions. Will have a proper look but he has a recipie for pork loin chops which I have in fridge. Not as big as the ones he used but might be able to tweak it. The chilli beef looked fabulous.

Sounds like a very chilled afternoon in every sense bless you @Thebookofcarolagain😂🥶 .That Chinese channel sounds great , l must have a look . I love simple, no faff recipes 😁. The pork chops sound ripe tweaking, and that chilli beef sounds delicious! 😋
That sounds a bargain the bag of rice from Aldi .This was Tilda Basmati rice and it was lovely so much nicer than the mcrowave rice pots 😊

Just turned very cold here now had to shut all the windows up. DH is under his blanket , nesh see 🤣

Had a look at the pork dish @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Haven't got a couple of things dark soy, oyster sauce (keep forgetting to.restock it), so will get them and try next time. Will make something up tomorrow for mine. 😁 but it looks delicious.
Watched LMR last big harvest before they move. What a fab garden she has. Will be very interesting to see what she does next.

Despite all the rain my sunflowers out front are really drooping. Thrown some water in them will water properly later
Waiting for washer to finish will have a mooch around garden when I hang it out.
No big plans. Have to order some stuff i can't find in shops. Plain white vinegar, vanilla and seed envelopes. What a pia.
Might do some baking later...

Been out dead heading poppies and pulling bloody toadflax. Noticed i have snapdragons coming up and one is flowering! Have a bunch of seedlings in pots to to put in garden when bigger. Found a light brown hairy caterpillar but cannot find out what it is. Nearest i found usually lives on nettles and docks so have chucked it over fence. Not having my plants decimated!
My sunflowers up top border are huge, far taller than the ones in pots out front. Must plant more up there next year.

Definitely worth planting more there next year. Good spot with the Snapdragons too, l love Snapdragons ❤️ and I don’t blame you chucking the caterpillar over the fence your plants have suffered enough! 😂

Yes washing is out @DirtyGertiefromno30 then I pottered. My snapdragons are in bottom border. I might put some up top as the front part is still bare. Next year....there will be more plants!
Had to order the stuff twice first time it used my old debit card. It didn't let me choose a card and I needed to update new ones. So had to cancel it all and start again. Stupid amazon. I dont use it much at all so wasnt impressed. I will choose which card I use thank you. Arghhhhh.

And arghhh Amazon! 😤 They are so bloody annoying , fancy having to cancel and reorder because it used your old card 😱. You should definitely be able to choose which card you want to use! I had to take all my addresses except ours off my account after l sent something to someone l didn't want to send it to but l couldn't contact them to say 🤣 how embarrassing 😂.

Got chops marinating I am sure they will shrink on cooking so I am having butter chicken from freezer. Just doing noodles for all.

Sunny here, but yours being sunny and freezing is ridiculous and makes no sense! 🥶 Your chops sound lovely, although you’re probably right about them shrinking 😂 Butter chicken from the freezer sounds like a good backup, and noodles all round sounds perfect. Enjoy! 😋.
Dh happy his team won. He's just going to get a TGTG bag , l am having baked pots and cheese 😋 love it 😁

The pork turned out yummy. I pinched a sliver just to make sure when I sliced it up to put on plate.😁 Will def use that for marinade again. Adding cornflower just before you fry it makes it stick to pork giving a better coating.
Now just got dishes to do! Eek!

Glad you can have cornflower. If you go on that cooking website I mentioned last night he does a crust with cornflour on meats, it looks delish, you could probably use it for all sorts of things.
Got stuck watching reaction vids to Disturbs S of S again. 😁 Love their rendition and the video is awesome. Best cover ever. David's range is incredible.
