glad to hear its all well with you Dirtie - I forgot yo mention cornflour to you , I knew about that 🙄. Also arrowroot for thickening gravy etc . Sadly , getting people in is expensive , and it does sound like your hedge was massive job .
Busy times all round Fridaynigh - hope you have time to relax .
We were tired after the twins ( they were a joy as always) , so had s quiet day on Friday.
Yesterday we went to DD1’s to drop off the very last of her things !! We also popped to get nice bread from the market and had lunch out .
It is a lovely day here a bit cooler and fresher . Having a look in the greenhouse this morning , and the next lot of tomatoes are ready to be turned into pasta sauce , along with some little aubergines ( I have picked most of the big ones , they are going over now ) . I also have loads of courgettes -😁.

Been busy this morning, cleaning up and sorting through a few bits here, Mum ok thankfully 🤗

Ha ha @bookbook I know I keep calling them delphiniums, my brain argues over what they are and i write delphiniums and its crazy its like a brain block🤪 Nice haul from your greenhouse. So jealous 😄
Nice day here, clouds keep gathering and dispersing, so warm then cool then warm again but ok.

I got off my butt and planted out my snap dragons into the garden. (The ones in bottom garden just grew themselves so these should be ok...) Some in the top border to fill up the big space at front and in bottom where theres a space. Had about 16 seedlings so very happy. If they grow it will be a lovely colourful show. Fingers crossed. Did some weeding of blooming toadflax etc. Watered it all just gotta do out front again tonight.

Noticed last night my foxglove seeds at kitchen window i sowed a week ago are peeking through😄 I did both pink and the new cream ones. Fingers crossed. This year's babies are growing well in pots ready to plant out in garden when its time.

Gonna take ds2 down when he goes to work, ds1 wants to go to coop so I will get bread when down there. Need to move and make ds2s dinner he didn't get last night. Kids!

You’ve had a lovely few days @bookbook. The twins being a joy makes being tired so worthwhile 🤗. And fab to finally take the very last of DD1’s things over. Nice market bread and lunch out sounds like a perfect little treat too 😁👏.
Your greenhouse sounds so productive! 😁 . Homemade tomato and aubergine pasta sauce sounds delicious, and you can never have too many courgettes although I’m sure you may disagree soon 😂 . Enjoy pottering in the greenhouse in the lovely fresh weather 🤗.

Got a pizza for ds2 after work, got myself a teeny plain one and used fridge stuff on it for my tea. Got biccies and strawbs. Arrghhh.
Have cut back almost all the toadflax out front as gonna go to seed. Now to water ...

Some of my sunflowers out front have flowers growing out of the tops of flowers! And spotted a teeny yellow ladybird.

How does a loaf of bread magically turn into a £20 Co op shop @Thebookofcarolagain?! It’s a mystery! At least you got DS2 fed and made yourself a lovely left overs pizza. 🍕🍓. Your garden sounds lovely though ❤️ . I love the thought of flowers growing out of the tops of other flowers 😂🌻 .And a teeny yellow ladybird! 🐞 Something very nice about little ladybirds ❤️

Car said 27 when we went down the street! Certainly didnt feel it half the day!

I asked DH and he has never ever seen that happen before @Thebookofcarolagain 😱. He's just deheaded his and is drying them for the birds . You must be tired lovely, yes it will be all the sea air 🤗. Yes back to normal weather by the looks 🙄.
Going to watch a film, Project Hail Mary but l have got a Lord Peter Whimsey audio book at the ready if l dislike it 😂

That's supposed to be a good film @DirtyGertiefromno30 and Ryan Gosling isn't too shabby to watch 😉
I need to deadhead mine too but keep forgetting. Plus they've wilted, revived, wilted revived its been hard to guess when to do it 😁 Suppose I should do it tomorrow before we get more bloody rain.

Oh I forgot. That tom' plant i had given up on i read the label again, it fruits until October! And it has a fresh crop of flowers on it. 😲 So watered it again. Wonder if they will shrivel up like last ones or actually flower.🤞

I like the film it's funny 😁. Fingers crossed the tomato flowers actually turn into tomatoes this time @Thebookofcarolagain 🤞🍅. How exciting though that it's having another go , perhaps it was just waiting for a bit of TLC and better luck! Definitely sounds like the Sunflowers are a job for tomorrow before the rain starts again. 🌧️😁

I finally persuaded myself to watch another episode of Daryl Dixon @DirtyGertiefromno30 . My nerves! Will watch another tomorrow. I am starting Jurrasic World Rebirth. What the hell did they create???That's not a dinosaur! This better be good.

Got 2 lots of mince cooking. Did it all in big pan then separated it adding chilli to one and bay leaves to other. 2 meals in the bag.
Jurassic Rebirth was ok, some scary bits some funny. Bit of homage to JP. But not the best one. The sea monsters were good but the big bad...meh not so much. Huge and scary ish but more of a nod to Alien than JP. (Theres another nod to Alien 3 in the film) But it was a romp.
Got a new Skyrim story as I went to bed, yeah! Another seemingly simple story but it posed so many questions about morality, basic human manners, philosophy etc etc my brain melted😁
No big plans today. Got my new seed envelopes delivered yesterday so have plenty to fill up now 😄 I just need to face sorting them all out from the hanging bags in c.u.s..😱

I have been so busy today with Mum , she had to have a mattress exchange and it took forever there , l had to stay with her because she gets so upset bless her so have been there nearly 5 hours and then the terrible traffic from the Green Man festival and then a van fire which stopped all the traffic from going anywhere 😱
You've been busy too @Thebookofcarolagain ☺️! Two meals sorted and the washing on, you were doing so well . Good on you for facing another Daryl Dixon too, even if your nerves could only cope with one episode at a time 🤣
Jurassic Rebirth sounded alright then, a bit of a romp even if the dino was a bit meh! The sea monsters sounded more fun though 😁 . And yay for a new Skyrim story , although it sounded like it made your brain work far too hard before bed 😂😂
Hope you had a good day and enjoy your tea tonight. I am just having chicken peas and rice so l suppose it's like Chicken fried rice 😂😋. Bring it on! l am hungry, not eaten anything all day and only had 2 cuppas , it won't take long just one of those days . The good thing was that l went to see Mum on my own , DH took the car to have a service and MOT and she passed thankfully 🤗 he dropped the car off and went to Cardiff on the train and thoroughly enjoyed himself 😂.

Thanks for the reminder, I forgot I had washing out! Tea was delicious! Added garlic bread to it. Was really pleased, no idea what i.did, nothing out the ordinary just my usual chuck it all in😄 Hope the chilli tomorrow is just as good.
Started off today in shorts and tshirt but by 4.30 I was fed up feeling cold! It was sunny but the breeze was freezing, so i shut back door then joggers and zip up went on.

Sounds like you had a lovely tea despite not knowing what you did differently @Thebookofcarolagain! 😂 Garlic bread always makes everything even more delicious. Fingers crossed the chilli is just as good tomorrow, l am sure it will be 😁🤞. I had to stay and wait for the mattress man to come , it's an air pressure mattress and Mum has to come off the mattress into a chair while they did it and of course he was ages because of the terrible traffic , sods law but nevermind it's done now 🤗. It's warm here tonight just shutting up the windows .Today has just galloped away with us tbh 🤗

Its warmer now than it was earlier @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Even though it was hot in the sun the breeze spoiled it as soon as you went into.the slightest shade.

Weather ok here about 20C and dry so not bad , got up early and had a bath and washed my hair , washing out, then up town early for the market and library. Then to Morrisons, Aldi and Waitrose. Spent £78 on the 3 shops and that was being really careful. Home now and having a cuppa 😁
