Sounds like you’ve had a bit of a marathon weekend in that heat @bookbookthat drive must have been knackering even if it was straightforward. Thank goodness for the hotel with air con though, that would have been an absolute lifesaver.
It’s really nice that you’ve been able to see your sister in law and keep in touch since you’ve been back. I can imagine it must make a big difference to her having those regular calls, even if it keeps you busy too.
Glad it’s cooled off a bit for you, makes everything feel a bit more doable doesn’t it. Hope you’re not doing too much and are managing a bit of time to just sit and catch your breath as well.
How lovely about your DGS’s concert, that’ll be a really nice one to go to, always special watching them up there singing away.
Hope the rest of your week is nice and steady and you can take it easy where you can .

Got the first lot of washing in and put it away, just put the second lot out 🤞 it dries 😊

Blooming cold here now. Got my zip up on!
Washing was almost dried just hung duvet cover to finish off.

Had a nap earlier prob cos I was awake too early 😁

God l had one too . We were up late watching the football last night though. 🤣. Glad your washing dried , can't think what to have for tea tonight .

Its a toss up between pizza for kids or sole here. Ds2 is out with mates so I suspect it will be pizza when he gets back. I dont know what I fancy either @DirtyGertiefromno30

Discovered i didn't get my iron tablets when I picked up my last prescription. Will have to go down and ask if they have them. Last one today.😡 Have ordered more but I checked my diary and i ordered them. If wind wasn't trying to blow you off your feet it would be a lovely day for a walk.

Been to Aldis already and now we are off to Costco to fill up on waters among other things 😁 .
Hope the pharmacy has your iron tablets ready and saves you another trip. Fingers crossed the wind eased off so you got out for a nice walk🤞🤗
Dd2 went to see Harry Styles in London last night she said it was an amazing show . Hopefully we will be back for the Football match later 🤞

Did a mini washing but haven't put it out as I dont fancy trying to wrestle a king-size sheet onto the whirly gig. Just chatting with ds2 about it. Said I might end up with it like a parachute and be blown over the golf course! He said i can see you hanging onto the whirly and being blown round in circles and me having to rescue you😁 That led onto him hanging onto me on the whirly and us both spinning.. and I said you are too tall you would hit the fence and stop us. So he's said oh great I lose my feet...cue me explaining he didn't really need them, just fill out his shoes, etc etc so I solved his problem...he brought the potential.problem up not me! He is not convinced I am the person with the smarts in this house! 🤣🤣🤣

🤣🤣 I can just picture you and DS2 spinning round on the whirly gig @ThebookofcarolagainGood call leaving the king size sheet for now or you'd have been off over the golf course! 😂

Finished at Costco l was very disciplined with the spends . Just got what we needed. Had a baked pot and tins it was yummy 😋. Dh had his usual hot dog 😋.
Just on our way home it was just a Kwik trip today 🤗

Hot, crazy busy and all the rest here. Managed to get tickets to the Bayeux tapestry yesterday. A 2 1/2hr virtual Q. Along with about 40 000 others according to the news!

OMG! Was talking to ds1 about the cooker earlier and I said I was just gonna save up for a new one and get a basic toaster.

Ds2 was down again chatting just now and door went. He went to door and i asked what his parcel was...a toaster!!! He doesn't even make toast himself! Just up and ordered one without telling me! ❤️

Gosh that's determination @FridayNighFeeling . That will be fabulous. We will need photos! 😉

Bloody WiFi has gone off again. Been an hour. Not happy.

Had a little bit of tiramisu cake after the fish. Yummmmy.
I hate traffic and avoidas much as possible. Couldn't live where you have to use motorways daily!
Got a fly buzzing about. 😡 Don't want to get up again to get the zapper, i just sat down!

They do keep us on our toes @Thebookofcarolagain 😁, but every now and then they really do surprise us! And what a thoughtful thing to do bless him . Hope your WiFi gets sorted soon, an hour without it is so frustrating 🙄. At least the Tiramisu cake sounds like a lovely treat.
