Good you noticed the oil light, worth topping it up just in case . Always something with the blooming cars 🙄
Been to take Mums friend shopping to Aldi's got a couple of bits they didn't have there yesterday when l went .
Home then sorted out tickets for DH and Dd2 to go to the Swansea v Southampton football match in 2 weeks. DH loves Southampton 😁
I am not going yay! Had a nice HCB and a cuppa for dinner 😋
HCB and Garabaldi seems to be the go to for eats ATM 🤣

Have hung washing and made a sausage and bacon butty for ds2 before work i gave up and made it otherwise he wouldn't bother himself. Lazy beggar, doesn't eat enough half the time and at others he eats well or eats snacks. Go figure. Drives me potty.
Was considering checking out if prices of Easter eggs dropp next week but talking to ds2 he would rather have a specific bar of choc. Ds1 bought himself an egg as he had £1 off on his coop card. So that's one thing less you bother about, will just get the choc. The prices these days are just crazy, a bar is prob more value and cheaper.
Just sitting on sofa after my butty and a sliver of birthday cake. I really should do something but not in housework mood today. Would rather be in garden but theres really nothing to do except move the sticks i kept. It's too dull and cold out the back to sweep up and tidy. Will do that when sun is shining! House is actually really cold, just give us some heat already!

Went out to do the oil. Was looking over the gravel areas outside and I couldn't find one of the seedums I put in. Looked all over, then I spied a couple of little grass clumps so pulled them out, next thing i am pulling every little bit of grass out plus a few seedlings I didnt want as theres too many the same. Got a big handful of stuff. There's always something i find to do out there! 😄😄
Those bulbs I found in the big pot out front are lillies too, they are growing now, yippee.

You’re right about chocolate, eggs are such a rip off. A bar makes more sense and nicer tasting too 😋

Just looked it up, my place is mentioned! Not in the center but the coastal areas are set to be walloped by it, debris from sea dangerous etc. Oh great.
Holy guacamole the holiday camp is full this weekend and it's on top of the cliffs! It got a battering by that last big storm, caravans hit etc.

Police interrogations to puzzle games is quite the jump mind 😂 keeps your brain busy though. Proper action game sounds a good shout. Hard to find a decent one that isn’t full of ads or wants money every five minutes.

Just having a cup of coffee , cleaned the shower room , hung out a load of washing , with another of towels in the machine . Its supposed to be light rain , instead its quite sunny with a 'stiff' breeze , so hoping it all dries .
DH I sat and watched Mission Impossible 5 last night - you do have to suspend your belief , but it was good fun . I had spent yesterday gardening - it is starting to look something like , but am sad that it looks like the dahlias DD1 bought me last year haven't survived , and I tried to be so careful with them . I am going to knock them out of their pots and see what has happened .
On much happier news , DD1 is on the way to moving !! Completion looks to be in a couple of weeks time , then move the following weekend , to give us time to clean and prep it . It has been a long time coming , and she is excited , nervous , and cant wait all in one !

Yep rain here too @DirtyGertiefromno30 blooming freezing as well. I know most games are OK to start with but once you start progressing you really need to buy stuff or it takes forever to level up. Such a con.

Happy Good Friday @bookbook great news for your dd. So exciting for her. I haven't checked my dahlias corms yet, hoping they are fine, they are hanging in paper bags in cus, fingers crossed, need to do that today. Maybe you just need to give yours a good talking too🤣 maybe replanting them will give them a boost and get them awake. I am scared to plant mine cos of our rotten weather. Need to be brave...
Ds2 is working later i am gonna take him down and go to general store to get drain cleaner, bathroom sink is still taking too long to drain.

Just coming home from taking Dd2 to the train station the roads are manic here you wouldn't believe it!

Checked my dahlias, they are dry but a teeny bit soft, not squishy/rotten though. Took one out as was softer. A couple are mainly just roots. Fingers crossed. I double checked and it should be late next month before I plant them out due to location. Dammmm. I want them out and flowering pdq 😁
Rain stopped but cloudy.

I have a jewel type puzzle on mine. Been redoing all the ones I have already done for a while as i am stuck on latest one. Might try it again later. There's a daily puzzle too. No payment necessary. Sad ol me😄

Got plughole/drain unblocker yeah! Went to coop, big queue! Ds2 fancied pizza for tea so got them pizzas, the choc bars and bread and milk. Raining again. Now sun has a cheek to come out. Took ds to work now not moving agsin till tea time😄

Your Dahlias sound like they’re hanging in there just about 🤞 as long as they’re not mushy you’ve got a good chance according to my DH @Thebookofcarolagain.
It’s so frustrating having to wait though, especially when you just want them in and blooming already 🙄.
That puzzle actually sounds a decent game , especially with no payments needed, that’s rare these days. Nothing sad about it 😁. I’d be doing the exact same thing getting stuck then going back to old ones 😂.
You’ve been busy too, typical trip to the shop turning into a mission with queues and everything. At least you’ve got tea sorted and you can’t go wrong with Pizza. And the weather sounds like it can’t make its mind up at all rain, sun, rain again exactly like here and it's cold and the wind has got up, it's howling like hell through the windows 🙄

My dahlias are not mushy thankfully. They are all still pretty small apart from the big purple/white one which is a good clump, so they aren't rock hard and smooth like Montys large clumps. So hopefully they will grow .
Wind really was going for it earlier howling around the house, shaking the trees out back but has calmed a little bit again. Supposed to be more rain and Its supposed to be windy later on tonight and overnight.
I had baked potato with beans and sausages with a bit of cheese. Yum. And a sliver of birthday cake.

Dishes done, all tidy, in my jammies snd chilling.
