I am freezing! Been in kitchen and repotted my cactus. Only got jabbed once, got some brown paper to wrap it in. It's baltic! My hands are like ice. Not much better in living room. 🥶 I need i.v. coffee😁

Oh wow, sounds like a proper chilly day for you @Thebookofcarolagain! 🥶 Well done braving the car park chaos and the Baltic wind, IV coffee sounds 100% justified 😁. Your Cactus repotting mission sounds hard, especially the big one 😁 , maybe wrap it in an old towel or a couple of layers of kitchen paper, held with rubber bands, so it can’t attack you with its spines 🤣.
Love that breakfast for dinner plan, sausages, bacon, eggs, perfect comfort food. And yay for your Sunflower seedlings! Little green babies peeking through 😊
You’ll get that big Cactus tamed soon, just maybe with cast iron gloves , safety goggles and a helmet for safety 😂.
Watched the France v Scotland game it was excellent TBF and you all know l don't care about it at all . Scotland win 50 to 40 .
Watching Italy v England now .
DH going to turn it over for the Wrexham FA cup game against Chelsea at 20 to 6 .

Guarantee you wont be able to watch the whole noise she makes and the utter nonsense she spouts for the entire video. I ff it in bits to get to the sentence. Not done much was gonna sow seeds but the frost has stopped me! Need to repot my sunflowers into bigger pots I think. Some are huge but leggy huge, hoping that they thicken up. Put some washing away tidied up and sat on my bum🤣

I have potted up my sunflowers, the roots on them already! Had a job to get them out the little cells. Also potted up a few of the orange daisy type flower out front. Noticed some nasturtiums peeking through too.
I don't have a proper kitchen window sill its just a frame and 2 inches of sunken wood, not even level with counter! ..its getting crowded around the sink and along the counter!
Sun shining but its freezing now, was a bit warmer earlier.
Have done my UC submissions of my bank accounts they asked for. Hope it suits them. Had the damm cheek to ask me why I had taken £100 out of my own bank account in November! What the hell has it to do with them? I like money in my purse! FGS!
I have more pork steaks defrosting but they are not in a hurry! Will need to use mwave I think. Gonna slow cook them again.

Sounds like you’ve been really busy @Thebookofcarolagain! It must have been a bit of a job getting those Sunflowers out if the roots were already that strong, but that’s a good sign they’re doing well. And Nasturtiums popping up already is lovely , it’ll be nice for you and the boys to see a bit of colour out there when it warms up. Shame about the window space though, but seedlings always seem to take over the kitchen, or the whole house, this time of year!
It’s ridiculous they questioned you taking £100 out of your own account. Like you said, it’s your money and plenty of people prefer to have cash on them. Hopefully once you’ve sent the statements that’ll be the end of it and they’ll leave you alone.

Just noticed lots of snap dragons peeping through thier compost. Will need to thin them.out when they are bigger. Yep my kitchen is full of tubs and trays @DirtyGertiefromno30 🤣 Showed ds2 the potted up sunflowers and he asked where they came from 😁 He just shook his head and said between all the stuff in the kitchen and all my plants in living room growing like crazy we will soon have an indoor hedge! 🤣

Fancy your Snapdragons popping up already ! It’s always a good sign when they start peeping through. You’ll have plenty to thin out by the sound of it. And your kitchen made me laugh , tubs, trays, and seedlings everywhere 🤣!
DS2’s comment about the indoor hedge is brilliant 🤣 Give it a few more weeks and he might not be far wrong. At least everything looks healthy and growing well , that’s the main thing. Soon enough some of it will be heading outside and you’ll get your kitchen back maybe 🤣.

Slept in cos I was up at 3.30 with itches and my mouth complaining loudly.
Have cracked on with housework. Bathroom is done, hoovered everywhere but need to stop for a coffee my back is complaining about hoovering all the nooks and crannies 😡
Need to order yet another med I missed. How? Only antihistamine and I have sone in house for ds2 and I so no desperate rush.
My drivers license is due for renewal next month, had it in my diary but got the letter today. Oh joy. Need to see if the post office half an hour away does them. You cant just post photos these days. Grrr.
Have my seedlings outside out back and took my cactus out too to get a bit of sun.

Change of plans. I am having left over pork from yesterday and ds1 is getting takeaway and getting me chips and curry sauce. Ds2 wont be home for a few hours, he is helping friend at his place so will get some thing before he comes home. Arghhh.

I can read and reply , instead of read and run tonight . Just a bit busy with lots of bits and bobs - nothing major , but never seem to sit down these days 🙄, so MN gets a swerve apart from popping on to read this ( though I am making some squares for a blanket on MN , so I keep an eye on that )
It has been okay , but a little cold overnight . I've potted up my dahlias , but nothing showing as yet , but the broad beans the twins sowed have finally shown up .
Twins are all good , and DGS was in a show with his youth theatre group yesterday . He enjoyed himself ( guess who wasn't there to see him ? No prizes ! )
DD1's house buying is toddling along - she may be in by May , shes just getting a bit nervous , bless her , as she has to stand by herself to run it all . We will do what we can , but its an expensive business having a teenager as a single mum . ( He is 5'10" now at 13 😮and started at a gym ) .
There are loads of flowering cherry trees in bloom here , so early , but gorgeous.
Plod on DirtieGertie - you have so much 'caring' on your shoulders already , you don't need to carry someone else's burden as well .

I haven't planted anything else cos of the frost and it's all a bit later up here. But the daffs have buds in the wilderness over the wall, yeah. I am desperate to plant my dahlias, I keep banging into the bags of them hanging in cus 🤣 (scared to look inside in case they all died for spite..)
I can renew it online but things never go as they should online for me. 🤣 I prefer people! (Well sometimes).
I have half a portion of chips and 3/4 tub of curry sauce left @DirtyGertiefromno30 and that was a small! Wish they could do actual small and reduce the price...never again, how much?

I was at school the other day and it was so funny how some of the boys were very much still boys and some were tall, broad and with a shadow of moustache! Hoping that DS will overtake me - he's been slow and steady so far but will probably shoot up at some point.

Nothing to report here, sun was out, but clouding over now.
