Lying in bed trying to get my self persuaded to get up earlier and listening to 2 local cats having a standoff outside. Gave up and got up to chase them, what a horrible noise they make 😁 i remember when i was still a kid at home lying in bed with fingers in my ears as my cat and an 'intruder' were having a stand of then a fight many a night. That noise freaked me out.
Tried the salt rinse last pm, yeuk. Still sore today, lip feels shredded and lumpy inside. Pah!

Looks nice here too @Thebookofcarolagain, so fingers crossed it stays that way 🤞. Those cats always seem to pick the quietest time to have a stand off 🤣. The noise is awful though. No wonder it used to freak you out when you were younger 😱. Glad you managed to chase them off in the end though l can just imagine you in the wee small hours chasing them away 🤣
Sorry your mouth is still so sore, poor you it really does take ages to get better The level of force they have to use to take it out is hellish 🦷. The salt rinse is horrible but hopefully it helps it heal quicker and when the inside of your lip gets chewed up it always feels worse the next few days, really swollen, lumpy and sore bless you.

Phew. Another job done. Been out in the garden and forked in some compost into bottom bed. Not huge amount but t will gave to do. It loosened up the compacted soil a bit too and tidied up some of the leaves that were over plants. My back and knee hates me!

Washing done and hung. It wasn't sunny and no breath of wind where whirly is so hung it upstairs, now half an hour later its sunny! Coffee time. The flap jack is good despite not setting 100% on bottom and slightly brown on top.😁 Next time I will put it down lower to bottom of oven and lower temp I think. I hate my oven.
Have Ambesol on inner lip. What a faff! The blob of gel just kept rolling around my finger not spreading! Had to try 3 times to squash it!
I could taste that salt rinse even in bed and I didnt even use much @DirtyGertiefromno30 Even though I had cleaned my teeth!
If my back calms down will go out and put compost in pots out front. I want to repot my huge hosta but will need a ds to help me when i do. 😁
My sunflower seeds are all growing in kitchen. 😄 Have put them up to kitchen window as a bit leggy. Will sow some outside too just as back up.

Bought 2 books from the charity shop for a pound and that was it . Nothing else tempted me tbh.
My sister sent me a photo of my Mum all cuddled up in a blanket asleep. She looked very rested . I think that is all we can hope for tbh .
It seems as if it's just a matter of time . The extra Morphine helps the pain but makes her sedated it's a cycle . Just have to go with the flow . We had a wonderful afternoon with her yesterday so l must remember that .
Been to Costco ,God everything has gone up so much ! Even in there !
On our way home now. Mum is knocked out ATM otherwise l would visit her . Going tomorrow morning now .

Ah, Ambesol ,so fiddly awful stuff ! I know the struggle all too well. And that salt rinse lingering even after brushing, ugh, the joys of oral care.

Yep prices have gone up, I nearly died when the cashier at Aldi told me how much it was! 😱 Apart from bread and milk i will not be getting more shopping for a while!
I am waiting till the sun get round to the front then will tackle the pots. Wont put compost in the tub for my dahlias as they wont produce flowers just flipping foliage like last years disasters. Going to sow a few snap dragons in beds just as back up. Cant have too many snap dragons🤣🤣

I think l remember you saying about the Dahlias going mad with leaves last year 😊. Snapdragons as a backup is a great idea though. I love Snapdragons 😍

Ds2 is down making tea, chichen burgers and waffles. I just asked him if he wanted tea and he came down and is doing it. Suits me🤣 He is doing all the salad stuff too for the burgers. He does come in useful sonetimes😉

Not long come home from Mum , been there all day waiting for the Dr to come.
He eventually came and Mum perked up no end and made liars out of all of us 🤣.
Anyway Mum has a UTI and is now on antibiotics and hopefully on the mend !

No food, no drinks, no internet. Still at least Mum is sorted she lives to ride another day !

Made stir fried chicken in garlic and hoisin sauce, very nice. Had a big flapjack as pud with milk. Was like an apple crumble yummy.

Car tyre has a nail in it, got to source a tyre and get it done today . Will start ringing around in a bit 🙄. It's never worth buying expensive tyres when this is the umpteenth tyre we have had to replace.

Been to Aldi, dropped off Mums friends. Sorted out a tyre, £75 on Monday for a budget tyre , l can't see the point in buying expensive tyres when they get nails in them 😱
What waste of money the tyre was on great nick before that happened 🙄.

Yep tyres are not cheap @DirtyGertiefromno30 I know that well. Had to get a few last year for my old car drove me nuts.
Been to coop. Carpark was full but managed to get a space on the street, luckily someone was coming out of it or I would have had to go to the one at the other end of the high street. Got my stuff. Sea looks lovely but its a damm cold wind despite sun.
Took out the last of the 'fancy' sausages and some gammon and bacon bits for tea. Saus, bacon and eggs here we come 😁
Noticed more sunflower seedlings peeking through the compost, yeah.nothing else seems to be moving yet!
Trying to pluck up the courage to repot my big cactus. Not sure what I can use to wrap around it to stop it attacking me with spines 🤣 Thinking cap on. I should have bought a newspaper in coop🤣
