I read a lot on here, and have drawn great support from the TTC forums in the past. But I rarely post now because people can be so rude and judgemental. I received some comments a while ago that were so horrible they were tearing me up, and had me ringing the Samaritans in tears in the middle of the night. One of the comments still sticks in my mind, several months later. It would be so good if we could all be nice to each other.

Oh, dear Alice, that's terrible . You should report posts that are personal attacks; in my experience MNHQ are quick to remove them. I find the vast majority of threads are friendly and supportive; I hope you can find some nice ones to come back to.

Thank you asmoto, that's kind. I reported some, and MNHQ removed a few others. I guess I was unlucky- I've had some great advice and support but it's the nasty comments (one in particular) that stays in my mind. Ah well! X

I got my mug today, thank you .
Lucky it was in one piece though as the thoughtful postie threw it over the side gate. Despite a large label with "fragile" on the box .

I've lurked for years on be off before taking the occasional dip into posting; usually dash back out to wrap in towel and lurk some more though afterwrds, but that's mostly because I'm an antisocial old grump than being scared off by anyone, bunch of pussy cats really, despite the old nest of vipers rumours!
