Anyone else noticed the increase in anti-Muslim hate speech online?

Is it just me or has there been a significant increase in recent days? which Elon Musk is also adding fuel to the fire to.

I don't really venture much on X (formerly twitter) but my DH was showing me some of the things said on there and I was quite shocked. I always knew Andrew Tate was a misogynistic hateful person and he has also joined the bandwagon now.

It looks like big news in France, I hadn’t heard here though France 24 (eng) may have covered it.

Ironically Oliver h is saying it wasn’t a hatred of Islam just the first person he came across…in a mosque!!

Yep. Guess it had been a while since the usual threads popped up so it was just a matter of time.

I no longer read them as it’s too upsetting and depressing.

And its about to get worse. It feels as Tommy’s family has jumped on to latest incident and using it to create more division.

Hello, I hope it's ok for me to post on here. I'm a Christian but I'm interested in your issue with anti Muslim hate. Firstly I am sorry it's so rife.
We have had someone pop up on the Christian threads just yesterday who is posting false teaching about Jesus. I have reported to MN and asked for it to be deleted but had no response and tonight they've posted worse.
I wondered what kind of response you've had to anything anti Muslim on here and if MN have been kind enough to delete it.
