Just saying Hi. DD 24 is slowly converting me! I like Seventeen and old school Block B. Black Pink too but I’ve been listening to them for a while even before DD discovered KPop.

DD is learning Korean and is starting to toy with the idea of going for an extended stay if she can work up the courage to go alone.

If you’re near London or have plans to go, I really recommend the Hallyu! exhibition at the V&A. I think it’s on until June.

How brilliant for your dd if she can go to SK for a while @WhatWouldHopperDo oh to be young! In my experience it's so easy to meet people when travelling solo, lots of people do the same.

@TheLoupGarou I agree but from a 'keeping BTS together' point of view, it makes sense that they all enlist at the same time - else they'll have to take another hiatus in 5 years or so. Feel bad for JK if that is the case though.

We are keen to attend the Hallyu exhibition, so it’s good to hear positive things about it. Possibly planning a visit next week.

Thanks BlueHeart I will check that out. I've seen a few interviews with Tablo & I follow him on Instagram but haven't listened to the podcast. He's such an intelligent and interesting guy, what he has been through is absolutely insane.

@SkyesMama I'd say 11 months is the perfect age to begin indoctrination into ARMY 🤣 My kids love BTS.... dd7 loves the bt21 animated characters as well, with Chimmy (Jimin) being her favourite ....

Re Stray Kids I'd say songs to check out - Maniac, Case 143, Gods menu, Thunderous, Domino (these are the ones dd has on repeat)

I think RM will go next - he's already said he and Hobi were going to go together but then he delayed things because he was working on new music... then Suga after ..... I have a feeling Jimin will go end of this year and then JK and Tae early next year.....

Pure speculation of course!

I’ve just heard the news that Moonbin from Astro has died. Such sad news. There is talk that he took his own life. Things need to change in this industry before more lives are lost.

I saw this earlier online. So sad. RIP moonbin. He was a child actor I think, so had been exposed to the industry for a long time - I hope some lessons can be learned, but if the past is anything to go by, it probably won't happen....

Same here. I am fairly new to the world of Kpop, and I will admit that I hadn’t heard of him before (I had heard of Astro though). Despite this, I can’t stop thinking about him 😞. Any death of a much loved celebrity is sad, but it just feels so much worse because of the circumstances of his passing. He was so young😢. The world was a better place with him in it 💔.

BlueHeartMelody I’ve been assuming it was a case of him taking his own life, but I may be wrong and it was health related. Regardless, no one can say these artists don’t work incredibly hard, but sadly this is to the detriment of their physical and mental health.
There were a few very recent live posts Moonbin did were he had been upset and he was apologetic, saying he will do better for the fans (or along those lines, if I recall). You could hear the pain in his voice. These amazing artists need to be able to be themselves (smoke/drink/date etc), with the knowledge their true fans will love them regardless. Their workloads must be made manageable for them. Until these changes are made, there will be many more loses in the Kpop world, sadly 😞

The tour I am really hoping for is J-Hope, post enlistment 🤞 manifesting for European dates!

I'm always up for JK though, SEVEN days a week 😉. I was in London last week and he's there this week - the universe is out to get me!
