Green Day UK tour

Anyone going to see Green Day this week/next and want to get excited with me?

We are seeing them tonight! and what's more - my boys are completely unaware of the reason why we are in London!

We saw the in Vegas in August - fabulous. My DS1 is a huuuuuge fan.

On our way down last night, DS1 said oh Green Day are playing at Wembley this weekend, can we go around some bars to see if we can spot them . Bless him, he truly thought we were unable to get tickets.

Must go and get ready now, need to find waterproofs as it looks like we might be getting wet. Suncream too. June, eh!?

Concert was fabulous, just as I knew it would be.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant - 3 hours of fabulous music, plenty of old stuff and Billie Joe was hot

So good, their concerts are always fantastic!! I've got a few good photo's - if you want any just shout. Think they may have been filming it as noticed a helicopter circling lots with a camera attached - here's hoping!

What a fantastic show - although my daughter, in the mosh pit, thought it wasnt a patch on the O2 last year, got a bit fed up with the mucking about in between songs - but I loved it all, didn't want it to end. BJ is such a talented musician and has such a fantastic voice, even at the end of the gig he gave such a powerful performance of september and good riddance - worth the cost of the tickets alone!!
Did anyone else get to step in the horse shit on the way out? Were all those police really necessary??

I managed to miss (by an inch) the horse crap.

It did take us 2 hours to get back to the hotel in Ealing though!

Just missed the horse shit! We got out really, really quickly but have to say at previous gigs we've just been stuck in the car park!
