Wow, that was cool - but we didn't get to meet the band, awww....
Weren't allowed to take any photos either, it was very regimented and loads of security. Almost like we couldn't be trusted to control ourselves around B-J
There were about 15 of us there, plus two people in charge of making sure we didn't wander off or do anything inappropriate, and about 100 security guards, cause they were all aready on duty of course.
So they did American Eulogy, King for a Day and 21st century breakdown, and a snatch of Minority. Plus assorted guitar twanging, mike checking etc. Billie-Joe did his wandering round the stage stuff... When he came over to our side of the stage, I gave him a big idiotic grin and a wave, and he did the same back, yay! Tre chucked us his sticks when they were done, and then we were unceremoniously herded out into the night.
It was a bit weird watching them practically all by yourself, with just a modest ripple of applause after each song - a bit like watching your mate's band play down the pub!
