I can't be the only one who loves this band more than life itself (well almost).
I only just discovered them a month ago. I can't believe I missed so much.

I love Muse too (though not as much as U2 I have to say). Wondrous music that gets right into your bones.

However, they are supporting U2 on some of their upcoming American dates - half a dozen or so I think. Would so so love to see that double bil, would be in heaven.

lyraSilvertongue · 27/08/2009 22:06

Only three weeks till the new album. Anyone else excited? Anyone going to see them in Teignmouth next weekend. I'd love to but didn't know about it till it was sold out.

lyraSilvertongue · 27/08/2009 22:07

Thequeensfool, I love Uprising. They've been playing it loads on Absolute Radio and XFM and I like it more each time i hear it.

lyraSilvertongue · 27/08/2009 22:08

Catsmother, I saw U2 at Wembley Stadium last week (Elbow supporting). They were good but I'm looking forward far more to seeing Muse at the O2 in November.

AnnieLobeseder · 27/08/2009 22:11

Love Muse, love the new song... it reminds me of the Dr Who theme though, but that's no bad thing! Can't wait for the new album!

Thequeensfool · 27/08/2009 22:15

Ooh Muse action!

Yes it is very doctor who isn't it? Can't wait to hear the rest of the album now.

I've decided I am going to go and see them in November, the thought of missing out is just killing me! I am not going to let £80 stand in my way.

lyraSilvertongue · 27/08/2009 22:16

Thequeensfool, where will you get tickets? I paid about double face value for mine but I couldn't not go.

lyraSilvertongue · 27/08/2009 22:17

Oh, I see, you're milkyandhoney.
I feel a name change coming on too...

MatthewBellamysMuse · 27/08/2009 22:20

Ta-daaa!

OP posts:
Thequeensfool · 27/08/2009 22:20

Yep, sorry I thought you knew it was me!

Well, there seems to be quite a few for sale for around the £80 mark...have never bought like this though. Any recommendations?

I have to go.

Squishabelle · 27/08/2009 22:21

Lyra - I love Muse - absolutely. Saw them at Newcastle and Wembley and will be at Teignmouth next Saturday but could only get a combined coach/concert ticket (from Oxford). Then Sheffield and 02 in November. I cannot wait. Have not had a holiday this year in order to be able to go to these concerts. Its funny though the number of people who have never heard of them and they are massive!

MatthewBellamysMuse · 27/08/2009 22:22

Just the one ticket?
Try eBay. I'll try to find a link to the site I bought from (though can't vouch for them as I don't have the tickets yet).

[claps lyra's trick]

MatthewBellamysMuse · 27/08/2009 22:24

Squishabelle (Lyra here) I'm sooooo that you're seeing them in Teignmouth. I'm really looking forward to the O2 show but the smaller venue has to be better. Tickets are going for over £100 for a pair on eBay and I have no idea how to get to Teignmouth. Where are you travelling from?

OP posts:
Thequeensfool · 27/08/2009 22:25

Yeah just one, all on my lonesome!

I'll look for either sheffield of Brum. What about sites like aloud.com or soldoutevents etc, are they any good?

MatthewBellamysMuse · 27/08/2009 22:26

When I was (frantically) searching, soldoutevents was pretty expensive. I guess googling and shopping around is your best bet.

We are travelling from Tyne and Wear. The journey is going to be a killer but I would travel to the end of the earth! We are staying overnight in Oxford on the Fri and Sat though, though I expect the bus wont get back till the early hours of Sunday. I am so excited!

Envy
MatthewBellamysMuse · 27/08/2009 22:31

That's a hell of a long way. I was thinking it would be a trek from SW London.

Teamedward if you get a sneak preview copy you must copy it for me. As a fellow Twilight addict (tis LyraSilvertongue).
Funnily enough, it was Twilight that got me into Muse. The baseball scene With Supermassive Black Hole. I had to hear more...

Thequeensfool · 27/08/2009 22:32

I'm on your way down squishabelle - you can pick me up and hide me in your bag.
