I can't be the only one who loves this band more than life itself (well almost).
I only just discovered them a month ago. I can't believe I missed so much.

That's great news Lyra!! Enjoy .

Regan · 13/11/2009 20:17

Fantastic!!! So glad you got the tickets

myalias · 13/11/2009 21:47

Have some exciting news!!!!!!!!! Muse are playing Sat 4th September 2010 at Lancashire county cricket ground - Old Trafford and on Sat 12th September at London Wembley Stadium. Tickets go on sale at 9.00 Friday 20th November. I went 2 years ago when they played at Wembley stadium - it was the most amazing show.

Squishabelle · 13/11/2009 23:30

Mya its Sat 11 th Sept. Have just booked my hotel room for 11th! Wembley was indeed amazing. Cannot wait. I wonder if they will announce an additional Wembley date on Fri 10th?

LyraSilvertongue · 14/11/2009 01:23

WOW! They were fanbloodytastic. Worth every second of the long wait in the cold.
They didn't play Feeling Good like they did last night. We got Cave instead.
Needless to say I will be booking tickets for both dates next September through a reputable agent only. No more dodgy websites for me.

myalias · 14/11/2009 07:36

Oops yes it is Sat 11th Sept - one too many glasses of wine last night!!!! Yes I was wondering if there maybe another date as they played 2 dates at Wembley last time.
Pleased you had a great concert last night Lyra after all the ticket hassle.

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 14/11/2009 10:36

a bit late, but they were bloody awesome!!!! Watched their gig on thurs night - what a great venue 02 is.
But, what is all of this lack of a moshpit these days? I was about 10 rows from the front, and at 5foot that's something I've never dared do before.
Gonna try to get wembley tickets
EPIC!!!!!

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 14/11/2009 10:44

not complaining about lack of moshpit btw - would never get clos otherwise. Just was expecting one. Seemed to be a generational gap - all 30 somethings were headbanging and jumping, all 20 somethings were kind of standing there! odd.

LyraSilvertongue · 14/11/2009 11:25

Moshing is banned at the O2. There are signs as you go in saying no moshing and no body surfing. I was seated but could see the front of the standing crowd. It all looked a bit brutal down there and security people were dragging people out all night.
Our seats be really good in the end - level one, right by the stage on Matt's side so I could see everything really clearly. I couldn't see The Big Pink at all because of the towers but not too bothered about that.
Can't wait for the Wembley gigs now. There's a fan presale on Wednesday.

MellonCollieMother · 14/11/2009 22:48

Thanks for the heads up myalias.

Lyra - do you know when the pre-sale code becomes available? Do you then just use it to buy through seetickets on the day?

LyraSilvertongue · 14/11/2009 23:54

I heard from other Muse fans last night that the pre-sale starts on Wednesday and you have to be registered to the Muse site. I think you can then get a code but not sure which agent it will be.
The site just says 'pre-sale info coming soon'.
Here

maddiemostmerry · 16/11/2009 13:50

Hi Lyra I was there too. I was on the opposite side of the arena to you. It was fantastic.
My eldest ds went on Thurs and wanted to come on Fri but didn't have a ticket looks like he should have come with us and queued.

To get presale tickets you sign up to Muse and will be sent a link to the presale.

LyraSilvertongue · 16/11/2009 14:13

It was so fantastic wasn't it. The crowd was amazing too, 20,000 people singing along to every word. Muse fans are very passionate
So do I have to do anything to get the presale link? I'm already a Muse.mu member.

MatthewBellamysMuse · 16/11/2009 14:19

I suddenly felt the need to namechange.
(Tis Lyra)

So long as you are a member and get sent emails you will be fine. They send you an email with a link and time and you just click.
My favourite was Plug in Baby.

MatthewBellamysMuse · 16/11/2009 15:27

Unnatural Selection was awesome. And Exogenesis was just beautiful. That man's voice! Stunning!

Were you there too MBM, haven't had time to read whole thread

I saw Biffy Clyro on the Thurs, brilliant, best two nights out I've had in ages

MatthewBellamysMuse · 16/11/2009 17:58

It's me, Lyra
I saw Biffy Clyro a couple of weeks ago at the Kentish Town Forum. They were good but not a patch on Muse.

OP posts:
MatthewBellamysMuse · 16/11/2009 21:19

Ooh, just checked the site. I have my code too!
How many tickets will you be buying? Do you think loads of touts will have signed up to the site get pre-sale tickets?

MellonCollieMother · 16/11/2009 23:00

Lets hope not eh!?

I'm hoping to get 3 for Manchester, how about you?

MatthewBellamysMuse · 16/11/2009 23:52

Three or four for each. Hopefully will be me, DP, sister and brother but maybe not all of us at both. I intend to be at both but I don't know who with yet.
Manchester is on my birthday (I already missed out on one of the Devon gigs on my birthday this year, won't make that mistake again) and Wembley is closer to home.
