I like listening to music like this whilst I do the school run (on the way to get dd/after having dropped her off, of course!) super loud in the car, enjoying my freedom

(Well, the five hours of it i have while dd is at school, obvs)

After pickup, we listen to Matt and Mollie, which is definitely, definitely just as fun!

SPRINTS are Irish, and they are fab! Great live act too, seen them 3 times now and going again next month.

Pretty much anything by The Jam (other than English Rose) but Down in the Tube Station at Midnight, Eton Rifles and a Town Called Malice would fit this I reckon.

Also I want to big up this 2024 song - No Hunks by Love Shovel, they’re an Australian band that might not even still be together but this is one of my favourite songs for screaming along to when I’m driving alone. “From all the unapologetic women, we say FUCK YOUUUU!”

Agree with PP that Squid make a great loud noise.
That song from Riot Girls 'Take Everything' is good. And they are maybe too melodic for what you want but lots of Sam Fender's songs are politically angry.

The use of that track in Billy Elliot was inspired.

There's a cool, angry song called 'Husband' by, I think a band called Fluffy, that's pretty shouty (and anti-men).

It's on an album I had called 'Ladykillers', which has a lot of cathartic songs on it, including the previously mentioned 'Weak' by S. Anansie.

Also 'Not My Idea' by Garbage. Contains the classic line: 'You thought I was a little girl, you thought I was a little mouse, you thought you took me by surprise, now I'm here burning down your house.'

Not British and not overwhelmingly loud, but I always find a good shout along to the Pixies - Debaser to be very cathartic?

And C.O.F.F.I.N

Babes in toyland, literally pick any of their songs and you'll get pure, unadulterated anger. Immensely cathartic.

You need early Manic Street Preachers for loud and angry. Generation Terrorists is a great album for this mood

And, of course, Rage Against the Machine.

Panic Shack are a Cardiff band - lots of really good songs to blast out.

Left field but I love Richard Dawson. He is very unique. Love it or hate it but it’s exactly the vibe you describe and very British. His songs are dark punky folk
