I’m off to Wembley for the first London show, seated so hopefully I won’t get ‘wet’…… IYKYK….

I’ve been laid up with a sore back all day, so perhaps the afternoon was a bad time to post, but I was bored!!

Ive got RadioXOasis on constantly at moment, I’m really looking forward to it. I think it’ll be special, there’ll be the naysayers of course, like there were for the Stone Roses reunion. I went to Heaton Park for that, good luck to anyone going there for Oasis!

I'm in Heaton Park on the 16th! Absolutely cannot wait. Haven't seen them since City of Manchester in 2005, but haven't quite got over the piss pints 😂 I think I'm going to chill at the back and enjoy it rather than getting too involved in the crowd, but have ponchos ready to go 🤢

Any ideas/hopes for the set list?

I’m sure the greatest hits will be played, hopeful for Whatever which was rarely played - although they did play it on the night I was there at Wembley in 2009 but not the night before!

I’d live to hear Gas Panic live again, D’you know what I mean, Shock of the lightning, Magic Pie, I hope I think I know, Round our way, Cast No shadow and Headshrinker are on my wish list.

I hope they don’t close with Walrus, personally. Needs to be Don’t look back in anger or Champagne Supernova.

That’s some gap!! Were you the Sat or Sunday at Knebworth? I went on the Sunday, had the worst support acts compared to the Saturday.

I went to the ill fated 2009 shows at Wembley, Kasabian supported and to be fair, they were better than Oasis (or it felt like it at the time)

I'm going to the first London show...if the tour makes it that far.

I've only seen them once before...at my uni on a night where you paid on exit if you liked the band.

Edit: Does listening to them live from my garden twice when they played the stadium up the road count? My newborn and her 1 year old big brother tucked up in bed got priority on both my time and my purse.

I know ! So excited for next month. We went on the Saturday. The sound system was dreadful but the supports were great - particularly loved the Manics and the Progidy (Keith was awesome). Chemically Brothers and Bootleg Beatles were great too.

I've seen them several times before, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Heaton Park (where we got a full refund after Liam had a strop about the sound and announced it was a free gig), Newcastle arena, Milton Keynes Bowl and somewhere else I can’t remember 😳

Last time I saw them was at old Trafford cricket club I was under the private boxes and Noel pointed out that David Beckgam and Gary Neville were in the one above me. All the fans started throwing bottles of wee at them…. Which obviously headed my way 🤢

Not me... got 4 tickets for Wembley in the re-sale via a code from Ticketmaster the other week, but then realised I'm on an already-booked holiday. Handed them over to very grateful friends tho so all good. Saw them 10+ times historically, all great, although went to see LG at Knebworth 2022 which was average at best...

I heard they're doing Knebworth 2026 for a 30yr Anniversary which I would be interested in..

N1 in Edinburgh as well, cannot wait! Will be my first time seeing them 😁
