Can anyone recommend any good similar acoustic folk type artists?

I was watching the Newsnight Culture show a few weeks back and they ended with a 17 or 18 year old artist. I was about to turn it off because I thought it would be some kind of trendy rap music etc.

I kept it on and was blown away by it. Does anyone know any similar type of artists doing good acoustic stuff similar to this?

I was just coming on to mention Kate Rusby! Beat me to it SweetestThing! I love her, both her reworkings of traditional folk tunes such as and her own stuff such as and . She is brilliant live and is very funny, despite the melancholy nature of most of her songs! We also love her Christmas albums during the festive period in this house.
