I was just reading the other thread and saw this link, thought I'd join this one too. I was reading with interest hoping for anything I could apply to myself, while not a wheelchair user I am disabled and struggling a lot with weight. Severe arthritis pretty much everywhere means I can't use a chair even if I had one, as my hands are the worst hit! Doesn't help I've had issues with weight all my life, and all the times I've had success reducing my weight has been due to things I can't do now- walking a lot, gym, exercise bike at home, fitness DVDs are all out, even resistance bands and weights. Food I had a lot of success with low-carb, low gi, and a VLCD, none of which I can do now. I can't shop, can't cook, can't even carry food from kitchen!
I wish I could find a way of getting cooked food delivered, living off crackers and sausage rolls and other easy to keep, easy to eat stuff is killing me slowly. No supermarkets deliver to me although I think Amazon prime may do which does some dry items and tins. My one hot meal a week, Dominos, really doesn't help but it's the only place that delivers in my postcode.
