Mumsnet are going to be working with a baby product brand and we’d love to hear your thoughts about them at the moment.

This survey is open to UK Mumsnet users who are currently pregnant or have a child under 2.

Are you not following the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes any more then?

PurplePizzaCake · 13/01/2022 21:00

This isn't a very good survey for someone who has only ever breastfed! Lots of the questions didn't really apply

cafedesreves · 13/01/2022 21:43

@PurplePizzaCake Tommie Tippee do sippy cups and think Mam do too. Also some BF babies use a dummy.

cafedesreves · 13/01/2022 21:46

And the only nuby thing I own is a tether

cafedesreves · 13/01/2022 21:46

Teether!!!

Done.
@BertieBotts
Even if breastfeeding, Lots of People express and so would use bottles so how would this survey contravene the Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes?

The International Code covers marketing of bottles and teats as well as formula.

I'm interested in Mumsnet's answer to this question as well as noticed other adverts on this site that break the code. Is it that Mumsnet don't think the code is important?

cafedesreves · 14/01/2022 15:13

Does the survey mention bottles? I can't remember as I can't see it now. But thought was more general which I imagine is ok. Just what people's thoughts are on the company etc

BertieBotts · 16/01/2022 14:38

Yes, I know breastfeeding parents use bottles, I've used products by all of these companies. I am just interested because I'm sure Mumsnet used to follow the Code and they don't seem to any more.

BertieBotts · 16/01/2022 14:39

I didn't go further than page 1 in the survey as I don't live in the UK any more, it was more the whole going to be working with a baby product brand from the OP that made me wonder.
