Done. I've been filling these surveys in for years, it always makes me sad to be asked children's ages, time flies so quickly!

Done. But no option to say if you use both tablets and liquids - as you may in combination depending on symptoms. If sore throat, might have cough syrup as well as paracetamol based tablet for a headache.

Done.

2 paracetamol every 4 hours, costing pence.
If you are paying more, then you have fallen for advertising fluff!

Yes that's pretty much what I wrote Grin

I swear by Day Nurse tablets. They reduce most of the symptoms to nothing. Plus they contain pseudoephederine which I believe has slightly magical powers...

CaptainCaveMum · 31/12/2021 13:51

Silly question asking me to rank which of these formulations is more effective treatment - it’s the active ingredients not the formulation that is doing the work - and no option to put all equal

This is what I took when I had to keep working in a care home when I should have been in bed (understaffed and couldn't get enough agency cover so no choice!). I rarely take even a paracetamol now, just fluids and rest.

Two ibuprofen and a decongestant tablet work better for me than any of the remedies, and they're a lot cheaper!

Done but far too much focus on format and not enough on ingredients.

NewYearCalavicci · 07/01/2022 18:45

Done ,
I only ever use Beechams powders with a little fresh lemon juice and honey in hot water unless I am out on the road and develop a cough and then it is the cheapest supermarket own brand cough syrup
