I see what you all mean about it not being to MN. I therefore think It needs to be called open square bracket gin closed square bracket, like this .

It's a bit of a broad concept. There's a difference between day to day gin and treat gin - like standards of wine.
I think it needs to be at the everyday gin end of the market. It is likely to be seen as a novelty.
I'm not convinced it's going to work, sorry

Actually I think it’s a good idea, there what 16 million people on here? What a market to tap into. I think what’s a bad idea is branding it mumsnet gin and making it a novelty. You’re then into smaller one off sales. Make it a serious proposition,,,and I think it could be a win..

I would TOTALLY buy a MN gin! I'd feel like there was solidarity with other MNers.

I was given two bottles of the god awful M&S gin liqueur in the light up bottle at Christmas. It sold out everywhere!

There’s definitely a market for novelty gins, whatever your personal feelings on them.

I love the Viper name suggestions. I went for Mothers' Ruin too - as it's the obvious choice. But Viper's Nest would be great.

Naice is pretty good, as is Vipers.

Done! Don't particularly like the idea of a Mumsnet branded gin though. It's a crowded market and I don't see why I'd buy this instead of umpteen others.

For the name I suggested 'Cancel the Cheque' as I think it has a nice ring to it. Was tempted to go for 'Sex Lube and a Fish Slice' but that probably wouldn't be very marketable.

I don't think a MN gin is a good idea. There are threads on here supporting women giving up alcohol who I'm sure wouldn't want to see MN gin adverts. Also not entirely inclusive of women from cultures who don't drink alcohol.
