Hoping that some notice will be taken of the fact that Wales is a devolved nation and that my answers relate to the Welsh Government’s approach - not the UK

Yes! Department of Education is hardly relevant to Wales

When you ask which school year your child is in, do ypu mean which year they are going into? As they have not started the school year yet, this is unclear, and you may get people interpreting it differently

Yet another England centric mumsnet survey
Education is devolved in Wales
DFE is naff all to do with my kids education
Why ask for opinions from Welsh mumsnetters if you can't be arsed to do your research

killerofmen · 31/08/2020 13:58

Agree with all pps - the department of education hasn't done anything to reassure Welsh parents so that may skew the results somewhat. Daffodil

RowanMumsnet · 01/09/2020 09:06

Very sorry about the England-centric nature of the survey and our snafu about DfE and devolved departments in Welsh government - we had about 15 seconds to get this survey up for various reasons and completely failed to do our research properly (as you've noted). Apologies - will do better next time

RowanMumsnet · 01/09/2020 11:00

(Although pleased to report that our data team has separated out the results by country, so we can make sure we represent the results accurately)
