We're working with a home furnishing brand and we'd love to find out what you think of them.

This survey is open to all UK MNers with at least one child under 18 in education.

Please click here to take the survey

All respondents will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £150 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Well, that was slightly embarrassing. Might as well have ticked 'Everything in this house not from Oxfam/Gran's attic is already IKEA, except the plant pots'.

My son starts school this week and his dad has refused to let me take him in to his classroom alone. I said we don’t need us all in there (as we will have our youngest with us as well) and I’d like to take him in with the other mums. I know it’s a modern world and we have raised our children 50/50 in the sense he is absolutely great with them, but am I being unreasonable to think I’ve made many sacrifices (body, career etc) and I shouldn’t have to fight to have what every other mum I’ve got to know will automatically have. Feeling really stressed about this. I’ve said “fine you take him in because we can’t all go in” and he’s ok with that! I’m so annoyed/upset about this. AIBU to expect to go in with him?

@YeOldeTrout

It's well worth the trip!!

LittleSweet · 04/09/2019 12:16

Our house is literally an Ikea showroom. It's in our nearest town.😳
