Your really need an option

"No because this jab did not exist when my DC that age"

I remember exactly what they had, and they had everything that was in the schedule. So the 'can't remember but they had everything on schedule' does not apply, nor do any of the other 'they have not had this jab' apply. All older teens will have had 5-in-1 (not 6) and not rotavirus (no catch up) nor all the meningitis options.

It should be recalled and altered, or the upper age limit for responses reduced to one that matches when all the jabs in the survey were in use.

Done. Agree with comments above. My Y6 is the mber of the family not to have the flu vaccine each year, the younger kids get it at school, I get it at work and DH pays for it. As soon as she's old enough for us to get it for her we will.

Need a "didn't have the HPV vaccine because he's a boy" option too!

On the question about which vaccines you have or would agree to for DC, I could only select ‘Other’ for the HPV vaccine as to why it won’t be given to my DC and no space to explain why - because he’s a boy so not eligible!

On the question about whether you think vaccines should be compulsory, if you want to explain your selection of ‘yes’, ‘no’ or ‘don’t know’ in the text box as prompted it will deselect the selection you ticked and ‘tick’ the circle for the text box instead.

What happens if I need to go to A&E and do not have anyone to have the kids..Im lay in bed in agony trying to decide if i should wait till morning or not..I have no family or friends near by .

Yeah. That's why I started filling it out then abandoned it.

The flu immunisation question is too vague

It does not differentiate between:

DC within the NHS age bracket for universal immunisation (who have the sniff)
DC (any age) who have the jab free on NHS for medical reasons
DC outwith the age for NHS immunisation for whom parents source the jab from a private provider
DC those who have not always had their DC immunised every year
DC those whose DC have never had it

Perhaps an option to explain medical reasoning for missing certain jabs. I paid for my twins to have their MMR jabs seperately at the advice of their hospital paediatrician.

Same as AuntieStella I abandoned as dd is 13 so some of these didn't exist when she was 8, 12 & 16 wks

Also the hpv questions are incorrect. These are being offered to boys in my sons comp school free of charge

Agree with comments above - completing for a 15 yo and many of these - I think - have totally changed since we were going through the process so I don't recognise them. However I am fully pro-vax and my kids had all the jabs recommended at the time. I suspect your results may look a little odd given that this is open to everyone with child up to 18, but the vaccinations aren't!

Agree with jackistani that it made me want to go and ask for more jabs for my teens! I am already looking at whether I should have my (15yo) son given the HPV tax privately ...
