NOW CLOSED

We are going to be working with a social media platform over the next few months and we'd like to find out what you think of them before we do.

This survey is open to all MNers who have at least one teenager in their household.

The survey will only take a few minutes to fill in and everyone who completes it will be entered into a prize draw to win a £150 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Why does it have categories (in the 'How old are you' question) for U18, and 18 - 24 ?
You'd be pushing it to get anyone in the 25 - 29 category Grin

The survey does seem skewed to parents where their eldest is just becoming a teen.
It doesn't really work for those of us who have be introduced to different social media platforms by their teens.

...so long as you live in the UK. So not "all MNers who have at least one teenager in their household in fact". Irritating.

Also, it's not terribly clear how to answer if you know the answer for you, but not your teen. Or how to respond if one of you does and one of you doesn't (which could be either way round).

(And no, it's not reckless not to know when at least some of your teens are 16+)

Why is occupation of any relevance?

epicclusterfuck · 14/11/2018 22:24

Age of teen makes a big difference here, 13 is very different to 18 in terms of what they can do online.

LOL at 'will you let your teen use the app'!
One is at uni - how would I stop him?
But in my experience, once teens get wind that parents are using the same apps as them they move onto another one!
