We know you're probably thinking about summer holidays, long evenings in beer gardens and (hopefully) some UK sun, but some people are starting to think about Christmas (yes, really!)

This survey is open to all UK Mumsnetters who celebrate Christmas in some way (religious or commercial).

All who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Click here to complete the survey.

Thanks and good luck!

Done! (Although don't think I was your target audience!)

SpottyShoes123 · 04/07/2018 22:58

Just completed. I must try and not have the usual Christmas Eve wrapping pandemonium this year!

done but forgot to put my details in at the end for the prize draw.
Any way to add them?

elQuintoConyo · 05/07/2018 14:07

I have fabric 'paper' and drawstring bags instead of wrapping paper, so although i chose 'not this year' i still selected December 1-23 for wrapping Grin

I agree it was a very dull list of make up/candles/celeb biographies/spa vouchers - i wouldn't be interested in ANY of these things. I'd much prefer a book on Alfonisba Anguissola, a new camera strap and a new chester drawers Grin

But i can talk about Christmas every day, so was happy to spend 5 minutes ticking boxes.

I agree it was a very dull list of presents, I ended up going for fiction book on the basis that I'd probably give it a go. However I think the list was very much based on the stuff that gets discussed and suggested all the bloody time on the Christmas threads.

All done

HeartshapedFox · 05/07/2018 19:29

Just remembered my worst present, which I forgot to add on the survey: one of those plastic things that helps you fold a tshirt neatly, like Sheldon has on Big Bang Theory. DH thought I’d love it. I really didn’t.

BillyAndTheSillies · 05/07/2018 20:25

Done! It's got me so excited about Christmas. I'm hosting for the first time this year so have done loads of additional planning.

redshoeblueshoe · 05/07/2018 20:56

Done. It should have had more options though, because I would seriously be going NC if people bought me most of the crap on that list.

And my signature perfume really

GreasyFryUp · 05/07/2018 21:50

Why wasn't there an option for selling unwanted gifts on gumtree or eBay?

OfficeDictionary · 06/07/2018 22:36

Done!

elQuintoConyo · 06/07/2018 23:05

HeartshapedFox i made myself one out of cardboard Blush

I'm still very much a Blue Peter sticky-back-plastic and coathangers kinda gal!

LivingtheLifeofBoris · 07/07/2018 15:40

Someone at MN Towers might like to fix the typos in the survey! 😉

Done.

I don't seem to receive memorable christmas presents. Every fantastic gift I thought of was a birthday gift.

TheWoollybacksWife · 08/07/2018 20:20

Maryz Xmas Shock is it really you? On a Christmas thread? In July? 🤯
