We want to find out what Mumsnetters think about the issue of mothers' partners staying overnight on postnatal wards in hospitals.

This survey is open to all UK Mumsnetters. Everyone who completes the survey will be put into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £50 Amazon voucher.

Here's the link again: www.surveymonkey.com/r/33DZDPS

Thanks
MNHQ

Mumofboyo highlights the problems here: some people simply are not reasonable. Who polices this? The midwives? Hmm I was unhappy to meet a new dad walking around in his underpants on the ward and I was staff, I assume many new mothers would have been even less happy.

Definitely bathe wards need to be adequately staffed. Partners should not stay unless there are exceptional circumstances.
