Many thanks for taking part in the Appletiser product test - please find below the questions that Appletiser would like you to answer. Please add your feedback once you've been able to try the drinks.

There are a number of questions as Appletiser are so keen to know what you think - please feel free to use these either as a prompt - telling us your overall views using these as a guide, or to answer each question individually.

If you have any other comments please add them below - they genuinely would like to know how they could improve on both the product and how it is promoted to both women such as yourself and to families.

Everyone who adds feedback to this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky winner will win a £250 voucher for the store of their choice.

Thanks and good luck

Q1
I only ever have had Appletiser in a pub as an alternative to still apple juice or alcohol. I didn't realise you could buy them anywhere else.

Q2
The bottles looked nice and the flavours were fresh and fruity. Favourite flavour was pear, not too sweet and very refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised by the apple, mandarin and mango because it was not as sweet as I anticipated. It makes a nice refreshing drink on warm days.

Q3
The bottles didn't fit very well in the fridge, cost are quite high for having it as a regular drink (£2.40 in local supermarket). I thought that apart from the pear, the flavours were very sweet. I liked the pomegranate flavour but it was overpowered by the sweet raspberry. Not sure if it would appeal to me on colder days.

Q4
I would drink it in the pub if there wasn't any still apple juice. At home I would drink it on special occasions like parties or bbq's. The price is too high to have it as a day to day drink

Q5
The pear and apple would go well with pork dishes instead or alongside cider/perry. The fruit flavours would be better with snacks rather than a meal.

Q6
Children and husband tried, DD didn't like the fizz, DS liked the apple flavour but thought the fizz tasted 'weird', he liked the pomegranate but thought the raspberry after taste was too sweet, DH found them all too sweet.

Q7
I don't usually drink fizzy fruit juice so haven't tried other brands.

Q8
I think the brand should promote itself more and lower the price. Also the flavours are appealing during the warmer months but not really for the colder ones, so maybe develop more all year round flavours.

Q9
Push the natural fruit side, reduce price and make it all less sweet.

Q10
I would recommend the apple and pear, not sure about the fruit flavours.

I know it's not officially what we were supposed to do but we made some ice lollies with the ends of the bottles after testing.

They were absolutely lush. By far the best way to drink them in my (and DS) opinion!

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?
I just forgot about it!

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?
Loved all of them, very refreshing when in the latter stages of pregnancy and a heatwave without being overly fizzy. Favourite flavour with my 4 year old daughter was the Pear. I really enjoyed the Pomegranate and Raspberry. Not too sweet so I was more inclined to sip it.

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?
I think the cost will mean it's a treat rather than a weekly purchase. I was disappointed with the Mango & Mandarin which is the one I was most looking forward to. I thought it would be a little sweeter but there was quite a bitter aftertaste.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?
BBQ with friends, would love to try it as a mixer too. Also having a meal with the family.

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?
I think they probably go well with most foods!

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?
Daughter loved the appletiser and the peartiser too but was not keen on the other 2 flavours. Husband enjoyed the apple, pear and the pomegranate.

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?
I have been buying Schloer in this pregnancy but I much prefer the Appletiser range.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?
Money off coupons means I will go out and buy some more and have passed a few to friends after recommending they try it so the free samples were a great idea! As far as the product, the mango and mandarin needs to be more mango-y if that makes sense!

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?
I think pushing the fact a glass counts as one of your five a day! I had no idea until I really inspected the packaging. Smaller containers would be great too to put in picnic bags/lunch boxes.

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?
Already have

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?

Don't think to buy Appletiser and personally would not think it would be something I would enjoy. In a pub would usually go for a still fruit drink or coke/lemonade

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?

I loved the pear, couldn't get enough of it! The mango was nice too. But I am known to have in incredibly sweet tooth! Others said mango was too sickly and sweet for them. Teenage sons enjoyed all 4, they would rate them in order: Apple, pear, mango, pomegranate. The bottle looks nice and elegant, (I like the glass bottle)and looks like you have splashed out and made an effort so would be good for special occasion, price does reflect that though! Not the cheapest drink on the supermarket shelves but Ok for an occasional treat / party (wouldn't buy lots though so maybe small gathering rather than party) Liked the fact it's made with real fruit juice with no additives

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?

I wasn't so keen on the traditional apple but then I have an issue with cider so psychological maybe?! Kids loved it though. Price was off putting to buy regularly. It went too quickly - bigger bottles maybe?

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?

BBQ, Saturday night or Sunday family meal, something to make kids feel like they're having a treat / being grown up

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?

I would put them with savoury not sweet (would be too much) a main meal apple/pear, bbq food mango, salads pomegranate

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?

Lots of people tried as have had lots of different birthday celebrations so the vouchers were very useful! Few people liked the mango (too sweet) or pomegranate (too sharp) But everyone enjoyed the apple and pear

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?

Have tried shloer but appletiser drinks seem 'lighter' and more refreshing

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?

Make it clearer it is a fruit based drink before a 'fizzy'. vouchers are always a winner - in magazines and papers, through supermarkets, email / mailshots. In-store promotions - discounts, BOGOF, etc. Samples in store.
Push the brand in leisure centres in the school holidays?

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?

As above
focus on the fruit and no additives
Vouchers / special offers
Advertise / sample in leisure centre / gyms where children take part in exercise and mums more likely to want them to have a more healthy alternative and kids more willing to try!

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?
Yes, definitely

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?

i find them fairly expensive as i would need two bottles at a time for my family!

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?

definately preferred the pomegranite flavour, had to confiscate empty bottles as daughters wanted to keep them as they were attractive

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?

i felt the apple flavour tasted a bit mouldy! my local store sells them at nearly £3 a bottle! a good fresh pressed apple juice is cheaper than that, and tastes better too.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?

any family celebration

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?

hmm, i never was any good at matching drinks to foods, tend to drink water for that reason

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?

yes, my whole family did the taste test. they enjoyed them all but the sweeter fruitisers were there favourites

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?

have not tried any similar products

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?

well, i dont remember seeing any adverts for the products recently, so maybe an ad campaign, also, make some vouchers available as it is a little on the expensive side for a soft drink, particularly if you havent tried it before

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?

definately push the thirst quenching aspect of the drink, it really does work, also, does a glass count as one of your five a day

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?

no, not recommend as i dont often do that unless something is really excellent, but i would offer it friends at a social occassion.

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?
I have always thought of it as a quite pricey drink, and as some others have said there are other drinks out there that I've tried instead

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour? Pomegranate and raspberyy were my favourites. DS2 loved the appletiser best, he loves Apple juice
Also the flavours weren't as storng or sweet as with some drinks

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?
None of us were keen on Mango and madarin, I personally thought it was too sweet

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?
At a dinner party (or with vodka)

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?Chicken, pasta, salads, BBQ

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?
My DH and my 2 children tried it. The yougnest child drank most of all 4 bottles, he lvoed it. My DH was quite keen on the peartiser, it was his favourite

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?
Not sure about the glass bottles, but I suppose with recycling then they can be disposed of easily. I would also put it among fruit juices, not fizzy drinks. or market it as a mixer for alcohol.

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?
Free smaples?

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?
Definately

Q1 Just sort of forgot it existed. Always used to have it in the pub as a child but pubs don?t seem to sell it so much now and I never see it in the supermarket (I tend not to go down the fizzy drinks aisle though).

Q2 The bottle was attractive, fizzy but ?small fizz? which was good as I tend not to drink fizzy drinks. raspberry and pom was my fave.

Q3 Too sweet. The pear one smelt delicious but was so sweet I couldn?t drink it. Still, you can?t suit everyone.

Q4 I would consider buying it now as an alternative to other fizzy drinks/as a non-alcoholic drink more exciting than juice?

Q5 More of a summery, outside bbq drink I think, a bit too sweet to have as a drink with a meal.

Q6 My husband agreed the pear one was too sweet. Other than that they were all very refreshing and tasty.

Q7 Compares well with products such as J2O which are also far too sweet. Koppenberg non-alcoholic pear cider is much much tastier IMO.

Q8 Perhaps some better product placement/offers on appletiser in the supermarkets to bring it back to ppls attention?

Q9 Offers on appletiser in literature read by mums?

Q10 I would recommend to friends, or at least mention it exists (some of my friends had forgotten too).

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?
I love the drinks, but they're quite expensive.

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?
The flavours are really refreshing, the taste is natural ? not synthetic or overly sweet. It tastes grown-up, which is great when you've had to give up booze? My favourite was the Peartiser.

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?
I only got three glasses out of each bottle, which just isn't enough ? especially in hot weather like at the moment. Also to buy in the shops, this would work out quite pricey. There wasn't a flavour I didn't like!

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?
With dinner, after work.

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?
Summery foods like salad, pasta, BBQ etc.

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?
My husband drank it and loved it, especially the mango one.

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?
The taste is great but many supermarkets do their own brand versions which are cheaper and tend to be in special offers, so I would buy those instead. Shloer also seems be part of quite a lot of BOGOF offers.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?
The product's great, the packaging is great, but I'd have thought a plastic bottle might improve the price point. I wouldn't be happy for a child to wrestle the heavy glass bottle out of the fridge, it gets very slippery with the condensation. Marketing-wise it really needs to be pitched as a fruit drink rather than a soft drink, to emphasise health and refreshment benefits over sugary colas etc.

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?
Pitch it as a grown-up, everyday treat. It's too expensive to give to kids all the time, to be honest.

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?
Definitely, but I doubt many would buy it every week due to the price.

Q1. Used to drink it about 20 odd years ago, before i started drinking alcohol legally . Then i found wine/ gin etc and i preseumed i had moved on. Considered appletiser to be a childrens drink i suppose.

Q2 I was looking forward to the pear one the most, but found that i enjoyed the apple one. Didnt seem as sweet as some of the others.

Q3 I loved the feel and look of the bottles, but they were heavy and bulky.

Q4 The bottles make it feel high end. So i would buy it along side wine if i had people coming over fro a meal to serve to non-drinkers/ drivers etc

Q5 Due to the weather, seemed to try all of them whilst we were having salads/ bbq burgers etc. Was very nice with it.. all flavours.

Q6 Gave the ends of each bottle to my mum and dad. they enjoyed them too.

Q7 At the moment, for a non-alcoholic drink, i quite like schleur (spelling.. the grape one) Appletiser compared well with it and i would consider it as a replacement buy.

Q8 Aparts from the lovely samples, i havent noticed any marketing going on. Need to aim marketing at adults... women in late 20s-40s, as a wine alternative. Would have been lovely drink when i was pregnant.

Q9 Mumsnet. Advertise in pregnancy magazines. Vouchers in those mums-to-be packs.

Q10 Yes

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?

Before getting pregnant I would drink alcohol or diet coke but avoiding alcohol when pregnant and diet coke too gassy.

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?

My favourite flavour was the pear one. The best thing was the fact they are so refreshing and not too fizzy.

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?

My least favour flavour was raspberry and pomegranate although it was still nice. The glass bottles are heavy to carry- perhaps plastic ones could be used, although they wouldn't look so good.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?

BBQ's, summer evenings, social gatherings

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?

Salads, BBQ's, outdoor eating

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?

My husband tried them all- he liked them too.

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?

I think they are better than comparable drinks such as Schloer which is too sweet and too fizzy. I like the fact it counts as one of your 5 a day too.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?

Glass bottles are very heavy- change to something lighter. Think they need to make more of the 5 a day as it's not that prominent on the bottle.

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?

Include something in Bounty packs etc given out- free samples coupons etc

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?

Yes, definitely

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?
No good reasons, just not aware of it.

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?
Ingredients, I like the fact that it is natural.
Favourite flavour apple, I liked that it wasn't too sweet

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?
Cost, at full price it is expensive & 750ml doesn't go that far.
The fruitisers were a little sweet for me.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?
With a special meal.

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?
None really, would just buy my favourites.

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?
DH & DD1 (3) & DD2 (16 months)
DH was impressed & liked the apple best as it was quite tart tasting
DD1 liked them all & is sad taht they are gone! She liked the raspberry one best

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?
Better than Schloer which is the only other similar one I have tried before.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?
If anything I would say that it was a little too fizzy. 1 litre bottles would be better as would a slightly more competitive price.

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?
Highlight the naturalness of it more, previously I wasn't aware there was a difference between appletiser & schloer.

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?
Yes & I have done, I even gave away one of my vouches (but don't tell dd1)

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?

Mainly the price, as a family of 6 we go through an awful lot of soft drinks and I would normally buy something more economical

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?

Loved the fact that it was addative free, no artifical sweetners is always a major plus in my eyes, the bottle looked attractive and expensive, it would not look out of place on a table set for a "posh" meal!. I loved the pear flavour, the children and DH prefered the mango and the raspberry/pommegranate flavour.

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?

I found the caps leaked when the bottle was stored on it's side, I wasn't too keen on the raspberry/pomegranate flavour and the children did not like the pear flavour.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?

We regulqarly entertain family at home, for birthdays, anniverseries, holidays etc. I would pruchase the Appletiser range for drinking at these events.

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?

I found all tye flavours worked well with most of the meals we ate, we typically eat medetteranian and fusion foods at home.

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?

The children tried the drinks and their comments are noted above.

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?

I found the Appletiser range less sweet than Shloer, I would rate it alongside the Bottle Green range of producrs.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?

Re design the caps to prevent leaking.

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?

Promote it as an alcohol free drink for socalising, use vouchers in parenting magazines and websites.

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?

Yes.

Nice flavours and no added sugar - all natural. The pomegranate flavour was lovely.

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?

Q1. If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?
A1. I tend to either buy still fruit juice or fizzy drinks and appletiser never seems to be in the sections that I am looking - I also think that the bottle size makes it appear so such good value for money as the 1lt bottles etc.

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?

I have tried it before but never bought it as part of a weekly shop.
I think this is because I usually do my shopping online so wouldn't see it unless I actually searched for it and if I did go to an actual supermarket I wouldn't buy it because I have too many greedy children and it wouldn't last two minutes.

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?
The bottles are lovely and the pear one was very refreshing.

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?
The cost is a bit too high for me to buy on a regular basis and I think all except the pear tasted too sweet.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?
If someone else was paying probably as a mixer if we were having a summer bbq.

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?
Not sure TBH.

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?
My children liked it and so did the neighbours kids who my lovely children offered it too DP liked the apple one but thought the others were too sweet.

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?
I think it is similar to shloer and is about the same quality.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?
The packaging is lovely although you could do a plastic version too.
TBH Appletoser is not a product I ever thought about buying so maybe more adverts and some offers?

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?
I would promote it as a refreshing drink for mums to be and I would send vouchers out in the free packs new mums get with some info on about the importance of having a drink nearby when BF and appletiser being the perfect drink for new Mums as it is just fruit juice and water.

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?

I would tell them the pear one is nice .

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?

We usually stick to the same things - apple juice for the children and diet fizz for the adults. Appletiser just wasn't something I had thought to buy or try.

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?

I really liked the mango, lovely with ice. Also the pomegranite one, and the pear! lol, they were all lovely, but I think the mango wins.

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?

Out of all of them I least liked the apple.

I really don't like the fact the bottles are glass (and seem to leak).

The glass bottle definatly puts me off buying it.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?

Hmm, before - never, but now I may buy a bottle once a week and save it for the weekend. I don't drink alcohol so its nice to have something a bit different to sip on when trying to relax.

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?

I think they worked well with everything really, we had them with BBQ, curry, sunday lunch ... just a good drink for a sit down meal or a party.

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?

My husband liked them alot, especially the pear.

My kids don't usually drink fizzies, (all under 6) but the 2 older ones tasted it and liked it too. but I wouldn't allow them todrink it regularly.

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?

At christmas we usually get scholer (?) fizzy drinks for on the table, but we would probably replace them this year with appletiser.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?

I would get rid of the glass bottles. I know alot of people buy wine in glass bottles but thats an adult alcoholic drink. If you are marketing this towards a famiy drink I would swich to plastic. Its a hassle when you have children having glass about.

We go on picnics alot and the glass bottle would stop me taking this drink along to one, which is a shame because it would be a lovely addition to a picnic.

Or perhaps just give a choice of plastic or glass?

Marketing - Appletiser is not something that I hear much about, I wasn't even aware it was available to buy these days before this!
Perhaps some more 'offers' on it instore to coax people to try it?

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?

Use a pregnant woman in advertising, a poster of a mum with a big bump relaxing on a chair with a tall cold glass of appletiser?

Alot of mums miss drinking alcohl in pregnancy, so this is a nice adult drink that could possibly ease that?

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?

I would, it may not be something alot of people would be regularly but as a treat, yes!

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons? Hadn't thought of drinking fizzy apple - when I fancy apple juice I buy fresh and if I want something fizzy, I have either sparkling water or coke

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)?
Which was your favourite flavour? Raspberry & Pomegranate

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)?
There wasn't very much in the bottle tbh. Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on? I wouldn't want more than a glass of the mango one - it wasn't refreshing really, a bit too sickly sweet.

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?

Any time I didn't want to drink alcohol and felt that water was too dull(!) Think the heaviness of the bottle would prevent me taking it anywhere tbh.

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with? I think they're better as an aperitif and not with food and I found they tasted better when VERY cold.

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?
14 y/o girls liked the pear and the P&R.

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why? Think Bottlegreen is possibly dearer but maybe better value as it can be diluted.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing? The bottle, although attractive, was heavy and cumbersome in my (admittedly undersized) fridge but it wasn't as nice when not chilled.

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?
Make it cheaper and larger bottle - maybe sell as cordial like the elderflower ranges.

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?
I think they're underrated, yes.

Q1 If you haven't tried Appletiser before, or for a long time, what are the reasons?

Too expensive to buy in the shops, but generally have forgotten about it since having it as a child.

Q2 What was the best thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which was your favourite flavour?

Nice looking bottle, pure juice with no added sugar, favourite flavour probably still Apple!

Q3 What was the worst thing about the Appletiser range (including the taste, the bottle, ingredients, cost etc)? Which flavour(s) weren?t you so keen on?

Cost too much for only about 3 glasses, tastes too sweet, not that impressed with the Fruitiser flavours - couldn't really distinguish the flavours beyond it be "fruity"

Q4 On what occasions would you typically drink a product from the Appletiser range?

Dinner party, Sunday lunch, out at the pub

Q5 What foods do you think the different Appletiser flavours would be good with?

Agree with the others who have said it is probably better as an apertif, served with lots of ice cubes and very cold, but would drink it where I might normally drink white wine.

Q6 Did anyone else in your family, your children, or any of your friends try it? What did they think?

Indistinguishable fruit flavours, too sweet

Q7 How does the Appletiser range compare to other similar drinks? Is there a brand you prefer? If so why?

Same sort of target market as the Bottlegreen juices, but they taste a bit fresher.

Q8 What do you think Appletiser the company do to improve the product, packaging or marketing?

Change bottle design so a number can fit in the fridge at the same time - perhaps going for a wine bottle shape, aiming for being an alternative to wine.

Q9 If you were in charge of selling Appletiser how would you try to encourage more mums, or mums to be, to buy Appletiser?

Change bottle to a wine bottle to aim to be an alternative to wine, free bottle to mums to be/new mums in Bounty pack

Q10 Lastly, do you think you would recommend the Appletiser range to your friends?

Yes, as an alternative to wine for dinner parties.
