We hope you have received and had a chance to try your DEXERYL® cream. Please take a minute to answer the questions below. Everyone who is a tester (for themselves or a member of their family) and provides feedback below will be entered into a prize draw to win an Avène skincare and Klorane haircare hamper worth £250 (containing products for sensitive skin ranging from cleansers to anti ageing but also smoothing shampoos with plant extracts).

o child - she has eczema patches at the moment and we work hard to keep it to that. I laid off the Eumovate for most of the time I was using DEXERYL because I wanted to give it a chance, but I had to use it towards the end - although she did have a really nasty cough/cold/upper respiratory infection so was feeling low, which always makes her more itchy.

o easy - although I think the packaging should be different - it's too thin to go in a tube and can be messy, I would prefer it in a pump bottle.

o Yes
  1. How did you find DEXERYL® cream?
o non-greasy
  1. How did you find DEXERYL® cream in comparison to your usual emollient?
o Better, because of ease of use - my usual emollient is Epaderm

o good

o Yes - I will ask the doctor for it (we are in Wales so get free prescriptions )

I usually use oilatumon DS but find it hard to get it absorbed into his skin and very greasy. The Dexeryl cream was pleasant to use and son's skin is already showing a marked improvement.

Is this available on prescription in England? If not how much does it retail for? {curious}

My daughter and I were impressed with this cream - one of the few creams she's tried that doesn't sting or make her itchy. For the first time in ages she was keen to put some cream on! We liked the toothpaste style tube as well.

I found this cream excellent - really good effects, much better on my son than his prescribed Diprobase; it really cleared up his dry patches, and mine! Would definitely recommend to others.

DS aged 3.5 (and I used it on elbows, knees etc)

o easy. much more like a lotion than usual emollient (epaderm)
  1. Did you find DEXERYL® cream was quickly absorbed?
o Yes
  1. How did you find DEXERYL® cream?
o Non-greasy and light. I liked the fact it could be squeezed from a tube, but psychologically it felt less 'rich'.
  1. How did you find DEXERYL® cream in comparison to your usual emollient?
o i think it is slightly better. he seems to have been scratching less and it's nicer than the heavy epaderm

Less greasy than the normal creams we use
  1. How did you find DEXERYL® cream in comparison to your usual emollient?
Difficult to say. It's easier to put on. I found my skin reacted to it a bit so stopped using it. But neither my partner nor children found this.
  1. How would you rate your overall experience of using DEXERYL® cream?
good

yes
  1. Would you recommend DEXERYL® cream to someone else?
Yes, purely from it's ease to put on. It is less thick than normal creams and far easier to rub in.

I mean I would use it again on dh and dcs. Wouldn't use it again on myself as I found it slightly irritated my skin.

One comment - a flip top lid would be good - unscrewing then screwing the lid back on (to prevent small people squeezing the entire contents all over the bathroom) with cream covered fingers is a PITA!

o no - have been in touch with the company directly, my skin became very red and was stinging for the next 12 hours, after the stinging went my skin was beautifully soft, but this is not a price I am prepared to pay. FWIW I can use very few creams on my skin and get this reaction with Most creams I have ever tried so I know it is me and not the cream.

o Yes, but would also mention my experience so they knew there was a chance that it may not work for all skins.

Yes Partner has just started a new job and has started getting very sore, dry hands this cream is the only one that has given him any relief.

Oh yes meant to say - a flip top lid would be much better. Can't get dropped and lost for a start and easy to replace when your fingers are covered in cream
