Ladies before gentlemen........

Well, I'm a lady (sort of) so I'll kick off....

Stage 1 - receiving the Sensual Massager
I thought blimey, that's smaller than I imagined and not a rude shape...I'm not quite sure what I was actually expecting

It's quite a small, aesthetically pleasing sort of object (I guess that's the idea) and doesn't scream 'dirty sex toy', which again is the point methinks. It's not the sort of thing that would make Granny faint if she stumbled across it in your knicker drawer.

My partner was suitably amuse, but - again - not in a naughty way. We were just a bit intrigued.

It was pretty simple to figure out. We used it the first night we got it (the combination of full-time work, toddler wrangling and pregnancy has left the poor man rather starved of, ahem, sensual attention). Its arrival gave us the incentive to make the effort to spend some time together, instead of fall asleep on the sofa (tis all romance here usually).

Sooooo, ummmm......it was pretty darn good actually! We had a bit of a giggle playing around with it. We started using it for legitimate massage use, but things hotted up.

I can't believe I am writing all this (have namechanged because I am a prude. A big fat pregnant prude). The earth moved for both of us. Luckily DD slept through the entire event...

It was surprisingly easy and natural to use. We'd never used anything like it before and were really surprised how effective it was - how much of a laugh we had (and all the rest). It was surprisingly un-embarrassing! Apart from this writing-it-up bit obviously.

First thoughts - i was suprised by the size of the massager, it's much smaller and nondescript looking than i expected, resembles a pebble more than anything else! And fits inot the palm of your hand very snugly. The only down side I would say is the recharger base when you first place the massager on it, it vibrates quite loudly and has a very bright light - but minor downsides!

The massager was much less bulky than other "things" we have tried and fitted neatly in between us at one point. Very unobtrusive and very erm "effective" . All in all, was very pleased with it and would definatly give it another go!
My dh claims he wasnt too fussed by it (yeah right!) but that he's happy enough to try it again LOL.

Well, the estate agent was here at the time the courier delivered it, so a bit actually. Couldn't figure out what it was as in a Philips bag (on the ball as ever, me!).

Very pleased with the design, much better than the dildo-esque ones. Switched it on - took me an age to figure out how to turn it off - but instruction manual was there for that. Love that its rechargable, wasn't expecting that. Used it later that day, on my own as a 'test run' as DP was away.

Much preferred it to my other one, far less 'rude'. Not such a worry the kids walking in or finding it, far more discreet.

In the cold light of day after use - well, its my favourite and I will use it again.

Well here goes - didn't have any time 1st time posted....

Receiving - guess most buyers wouldn't get a ruddy big bag with PHILIIPS pastered all over the bag - luckily quite wel taped up. Mrs SDD actually picked it up from postie and sort of said 'what have you been buying from the internet now?' 'Wait & see....'

Actual box / presentation quite discreet and tasteful on outside - sort of what I was expecting as had seen some stuff on the massager before.

Package a little difficult to open - maybe a good thing? A touch over packaged - can't claim many green credentials for that one!!

Actual item - shape wise more or less what expected, maybe a little smaller. Nice feel about it - smooth and quite sensual to the touch.

Swith on - whoooaaa! - not sure why it starts on such a high setting with quite a buzz about it. Why not start at lowest setting first and then 'change up' - you don't start a car off in 3rd gear!!

Shape is nice and controls very easy - no real need to refer to manual except to read about each setting.

With the initial charge could give it a bit of a self test - feels very nice and the shape works wel on the ahem male forms!!

Set it up in its little dish charger - very discreet really and quite stylish. Not too many fears about it being discovered! Its not an obvious sex toy so for us it really meets the bill from that point of view.

How was it introdiced to Mrs SDD well just sort of started on a low setting (having remembered to switch it down quickly - that initial start problem again). Quite a bit of oooh what's that and that feels nice. Mrs SDD keen to know where it was purchased from and honestly had to sort of fib about it coming from Philips but not via MN . The massge oil provided was is also very nice with a very sexy smell and a pleasure to use - got well massaged all over.

So proceeded from a bit of massaging to more intimate areas on both of us - actually we both tended to prefer the lower revs more gentle pulsing settings and not the on all the time - although......

As things progressed then yes the item came in handy (pun intended???) to help when well you know the normal extra manual stimulation needed a little help.

Changing speeds during more demanding momoments can be a little tricky as item is relatively small and the shape can make your fingers slip off - think bar of soap in the shower (but thats another story). More poerful settings have been used on odd times but as said prefer the quiter / less powerful but quite interesting pulsing type settings.

Overall guess its about an 9/10 - the one previous sex toy we I bought did not get used too much a once or twice novelty - this will get used more as its more versatile, more user friendly, more discreet, more user friendly (no batteries to change over) and its shower / bath resistant which is a deffo bonus and quite an interesting & enjoyable thing to do.

Is that enough detail - can't believe just wrote all that.

Oh and as more names - does anyone remember a Woody Allen film called 'The Sleeper' - one of our favourites - in that they use the Orgasmatron..... Also there is a scene where WA wants to keep hold of the silver orb, so maybe more similarities to that.

Years ago when MrsSDD and I lived together (but not IYKWIM) - MIL gave the old twin tub - which was also named the Orgasmatron at the time - so we also now call it that too and reminisced (sp) about the old times. The old Orgasmatron was never well maybe on an odd occaision used to help matters along - the new Orgasmatron will deffo be used rather more .

glad it didn't look like a rampant rabbit or similar! also felt that the shape and design was good in so far as it wouldn't be too embarrassing if found by kids (particularly older kids) as it resembles a personal massager or anti-stress type of device.

Sooooo, how was it? Did the earth move for you? fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and is smooth to the touch, good for massages which is where we started. btw the oil is very nice and not an overpowering smell at all (dh was glad as he doesn't like strong perfumey smells).

As with sdd we found the lower pulse settings better than the more intense vibrations which could be distracting. haven't tried the inbetween us position everyone is raving about - maybe next time

Took the opportunity to test in the shower and can confirm that it's waterproof and works well.

DH knew it was coming after I let it slip. wasn't too impressed by the idea but as mentioned above he chnaged his mind a little when he saw it and it wasn't what he'd expected. Easy to use, though a little slippy due to the pebble shape when covered in massage oil or in the bath/shower - not a huge negative though. Little or no embarrassment or awkwardness, fun all the way. hapy to use again.

rrp of £60 seems a little high, but there again the advantage of a chargeable, discrete device against constantly needing to change batteries in a much less discrete item is difficult to put a price on.

overall, a decent and fairly innovative product that helps add variety to foreplay and make it a little more fun.

DH wonders if the name could be changed to something involving pebbles? Sensual pebble?

DH opened it and put it all together etc. Then I saw it and got very excited. It looks so cute and posh. Hand held and cordless too. It's the most modern-looking item we have in our house and I almost want to put it on display to say 'we don't have mobile phones or a flat screen tv, but we do have very posh sex toys!'

Yes. Pleasantly surprised. Nice and curvy and posh (did I mention posh already?)

Not really.

Very easy. Never read the instructions for ages.

Fun. Pleasantly surprised. It was small and subtle enough to add something but not take over iyswim. Longterm use seems to numb your using-hand though.

My very first thoughts were a bit disappointing actually it looked a bit cheap to me. And the box was a bit bashed about so I worried someone may have already used it . But actually once I had worked out how to turn it on and set it to work, sorry was alone in the house at the time, well lets just say it really worked! Err I think I used it in within the first hour of its arrival, but hey I was bored of the housework . My partner was not very impressed, just kept laughing that at the age of 34 I now own my first sex toy!! He isnt really into that sort of thing.

The instructions were good and its easy to use.

When we used it together he wasnt too interested in using it on himself more focussed on me, which I didnt mind in the slightest. It got me going a lot quicker than usual, so he could finish the job so to speak. We used it between us, but more focussed on my bits rather than his, he didnt like the buzzing and felt awkward using it, but once into it used it on me to great effect. We have never used a sex toy before and it was fun, just made us giggle a lot which was nice, made things rather fun. i wasnt surprised by the appearance because i had seen it on the links previously, on mn

i agree it does look discreet and not like a sex toy, so if it were left out awkward questions could be avoided (as in fact they were when ds found where i was charging it and asked what it was, i told him it was a massager for my bad shoulder)

i didnt have any noise problems wrt charging, in fact i would say it is generally one of the quieter toys i have used

i was surprised that for £60 it doesnt come with a travel case of some sort, especially as they refer to it being portable with a function to stop it going off accidentally in your bag

my oh was looking forward to trying it out, especially as it was specifically for couples

i had no trouble figuring out how to work it funnily enough , and tried id out for the first time once it was properly charged

i think i seem to be the only one who was slightly underwhelmed by the massager

i think for £60 i would be expecting more than just 4 vibration modes and a travelling case for portability

the highest setting was fun though, it took a bit of getting used to handling, because the shape is different to the usual average female sex toy, but once i got used tot hat it was fine

however i hate to say it, but i still prefer my rabbit (mores vibration modes, less money)

my OH however LOVED it

he liked the way it looked, the shape the way it worked, the intensity of the vibrations, everything, it had impressive results on him

he did agree though, that despite how much he liked it, he would NOT pay £60 either, though he would pay more than me apparently , lol

there was no broaching needed really, i just said hey guess what we won a sex toy to test out, get your clothes off, kind of thing

no embarrassment factor, my kids were staying with their father overnight

so generally he preferred it more than i did, but we both had a lot of fun with it, though he got more of a buzz, so to speak than i did
