Tried the Splash Apple and Raspberry which the kids loved. They did question where the straw was and had trouble opening themselves but not issues whatsoever about the flavour. My youngest loved the design and found the Toy Story images added to the appeal and why she chose this one over another apple carton juice.

I think i'd change the addition of the straw as it made the drink messy to use when travelling and drinking.

I offered it on the car journey home from school as a treat and at dinner time. We don't usually have cartons at home, they're more of an out and about drink so having something they can use independently is an important decider on whether I'd buy again.

My child tried the Radnor Apple juice Toy Story 5.
He loved the taste and asked for more as soon as he finished it. I offered it as part of his snack time after school.
The pack size was convenient for popping into my bag but I would prefer a straw as it was difficult to open without spillage.
He loved the Toy Story 5 pictures on the packaging the most, and only thing he would change would be having a straw with it.

KatyCherry23 · 13/10/2026 17:12

Which Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try? We had toy story orange

When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine?
We wouldn't drink every day but would have them for a treat or in my bag on a trip.

How would you describe the drink to another parent?

Lovely refreshing drinks and didn't taste overly sweet like some on the market.

What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink?

My favourite was the fruity taste, 5 year old liked the characters and 11 yo liked the taste.

Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink?

Not sure on packaging as easy to spill when opening for little ones and 5 yo struggled to drink more than half without crushing the carton. Ended up pouring into a cup for him

Both my 5 yo son and 11 yo daughter enjoyed the drinks, as did I.

tonia755 · 13/10/2026 18:04

My son really likes Radnor fruits , he said that was sweet enough and enjoyed the fruity orange flavour. He enjoyed this drink
at home for lunch , I did not send it in the pack lunch as he was scared to spill it on himself .The size is perfect. It came without straws . My son would love to try new flavours as well.

Mathsmum87 · 13/10/2026 18:17

We tried the Radnor Splash - Apple and Raspberry. The cartons were great for offering after the multiple sports activities we complete each week. Both of my boys enjoyed the taste, especially after they had been in the fridge. I would describe it as fruity water to another parent. Although they both enjoyed them, I would be reluctant to buy them again due to the opening system. I would get splashed whilst forcing it open and I didn’t like that we couldn’t shut them to drink later.

My son tried the apple toy story 5 juice, he really enjoyed the flavour and finished it in no time. He found it easy to open, with the pull tab rather than a paper straw. His favourite thing was definitely the taste. I would describe this to another parent as a well portioned juice treat.

justbinthefeckinbyebyebox · 13/10/2026 19:20

Radnor orange & passion fruit

My child really liked it, he usually prefers water but asked for this, he was sad when he'd drunk them all. It's given as a treat with his evening meal.

It's a large carton of clear fruity water, a bit strong but refreshing & moreish.

The flavour was definitely the favourite thing & it's difference to usual juice or water.

The foil on carton didn't always open well, if it was very full the juice splashed out, after a few unsuccessful attempts drinking from the carton I poured the juice into a glass !

BogoPogo · 13/10/2026 19:21

they both liked the taste, said they’d had it at school before and liked it

they had it as a quick after school treat

their favourite thing was the taste and the convenience of no straw

i wouldn’t change anything

Groundhogday2025 · 13/10/2026 19:22
  • Which Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try? Radnor fruits Toy Story orange
  • What did your child think of the taste? Loved it. She doesn’t normally get things like this as we stick to water unless out somewhere as a treat out as post of a kids box or something
  • When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine? Offered it as part of her snack/treat box at weekends when we going on family days out. We’d ordinarily just buy drinks out so it saved us money this way, and we’d put snack boxes together when going out anyway so it didn’t make life any harder to pack this too.
  • How would you describe the drink to another parent? Very fruity and not artificial tasting
  • What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink? Just that it was delicious
  • Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink? Being resealable or having a straw. My daughter is clumsy as anything and we had multiple spills.

The flavor wasn't quite memorable enough to make them want it a second time, so maybe making the apple taste a bit stronger would help.

QuirkyPeachFox · 13/10/2026 20:06

We tried the Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Apple. My daughter loved it, thought it was a really exciting after school/weekend treat.
Its a great option for a treat drink.
Opening the carton was difficult even for me my 4 year old couldn't manage to open it alone.

Kijankaliljanka · 13/10/2026 20:10

We tried Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 Apple

My child did not like the taste and refused it when I offered it next time. The flavour was way too artificial with poor ingredients, in my opinion small children should not be consuming. The packaging is the only positive to this drink, it your child likes Toy Story characters.

Vikiib · 13/10/2026 20:29

my daughter really likes the taste and thought it was zingy.

she had the drink in her lunchboxes and then afterschool.

i would describe it as a carton drink to other parents.

She would add a mango and passion fruit flavour. And make a larger sharing version on the drink like shloer.
