Radnor splash- orange and passionfruit
My child really liked it and said it was quite tasty. He asked for more of it.
I offered the drink after school and at weekends. This is usually when he would have a bit of a 'treat' drink as opposed to water or milk.
I would describe it as a nice alternative to water for kids who preferred a bit of flavour but I'd be mindful to check how it is sweetened
My child liked the taste
They would change the packaging - they found it very difficult to get into and he's not usually one that struggles with that sort of thing!

Terminatrix · 06/10/2026 17:38

We tried the apple & raspberry flavour. My child said that the flavour was refreshing and pleasant. They consumed it after school. The small packs are a very convenient size. I would describe the drinks as thirst quenching and delicious to another parent. I wouldn't change anything about the drinks. It had the right level of sweetness.

My son enjoyed the taste, he said it was not too strong and good at quenching his thirst.

We tried Apple and Raspberry
We used it after school or whenever they took it. It was easy to open and good that it doesn't need a straw.
Flavoured water. Convenient and good size.
My child didn't love the flavour, they said it was quite strong.

Angelesque · 06/10/2026 17:51
  • Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try? Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Apple
  • What did your child think of the taste?
He loved it - he said it was the best apple juice he’d ever had! He was definitely influenced by the Toy Story packaging
  • When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine?

it was an after school treat, and also great for on the go when we were out on errands at the weekend

  • How would you describe the drink to another parent?

convenient and appealing for little ones - feels healthier than squash or other soft drinks. Serve size feels sensible too for a little one

  • What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink?

it felt natural - a treat that I didn’t have to compromise too hard on. My child’s
favourite thing was the Toy Story tie-in I think!

  • Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink?

My child’s favourite thing- no

me - I’d
prefer a slightly different drinking mechanic -
a little paper straw, maybe?

Itsmeemmer1 · 06/10/2026 17:56

We had the orange flavour we had it with lunch and dinner. My child loved it, i love how easy it is to open and drink. I would like to have a bigger size of the jucie drink. My son wanted a few of this so would be good to have a bigger one to take on days out. I wouldnt change anything about this drink

mata777 · 06/10/2026 18:01

My daughter had the orange and passionfruit version. She liked the taste but said maybe it could have a little bit more flavour. She liked it in her lunchbox but found it a bit harder to drink from it, had to get used to it first. Size is just right for the lunchbox.

bakingqueen · 06/10/2026 18:02

We tried the Toy Story orange. It was a big after school hit. The kids were not interested in the Toy Story characters. They loved the taste and argued over who got the last one.

amesn · 06/10/2026 18:05

My daughter tried the Radnor Splash - Orange & Passion Fruit. She loved it! Especially how it actually tasted like both orange and passion fruit. I popped it into her lunchbox on a couple of days but she mainly drank them at home after school with a snack. I would describe them as flavoured water. They felt like a more ‘natural’ kids drink option which I like. The only thing I would change about the drink is the packaging - my daughter struggled with opening the drink.

aggga8 · 06/10/2026 18:07

My child tried Radnor Splash Orange & Passion Fruit and really enjoyed it. She liked the fruity, refreshing taste and said she would definitely have it again. We usually had it with lunch or when we were out. The carton was a handy size and easy to take with us. I also liked that it wasn’t too sweet. We wouldn’t really change anything.

EggbertHeartsTina · 06/10/2026 18:12

We tried the orange and passion fruit. I thought it tasted quite nice. Juice is a weekend only treat here and my eldest (11) didn’t think it was “treat” enough - he’d prefer to go all out with something fizzy or our regular squash which is a bit sweeter.

I would describe it as a convenient choice for a lunchbox (we let them have juice for school trips etc) but my youngest (7) couldn’t open it and they both wanted straws.

general feedback from them both below:

11 year old:
Flavour not strong enough - he prefers the apple one that he’s had before.
He would choose water over this.
He would prefer clear packaging so he can see colour. Score 5/10

7 year old:
He likes the flavour and packaging. Score 9/10

General feedback:
Mouth hole is awkward so I had to provide straws. It was too hard for my 7 year old to open so no good for lunchbox which is what I would want it for due to otherwise convenient packaging.

Which Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try? Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Orange

What did your child think of the taste? Loved it. Said it tasted nice, all wanted another one and enjoyed the drinks

When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine? We have squash on tap here (sugar free) so I would say fizzy drinks are more of a treat. My eldest takes a bottled Radnor Splash to school every day and I don't tend to allow the younger two to have them mainly due to the cost of drinking a convenience drink at home. The younger two were excited to have these after school but I would probably send them in with a packed lunch too.

How would you describe the drink to another parent? A nice refreshing drink for younger children

What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink? No straw! They loved the opening and could do it themselves no issue. They also really liked the taste.

Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink? they'd make them bigger! They enjoyed them and finished them quickly.

Which Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try?
We were sent the Orange & Passion Fruit flavour to try.

What did your child think of the taste?
They thought they were nice and enjoyed drinking them.

When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine?
They had the drinks with lunch or dinner. They fitted well into our usual routine as they always have some kind of drink with a meal, whether that be a carton or drink in a cup.

How would you describe the drink to another parent?
It is a clear, flavoured drink that my children loved the taste of. It is very convenient and a good size of drink.

What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink?
They liked that it tasted fruity whilst having no colour to the liquid so it felt like drinking water but tastier!

Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink?
I would definitely make them
easier to open. The girls would prefer the carton to have a straw attached. We had to open the carton and pour it into a glass to avoid any unnecessary mess!

These were a huge hit and we have looked to purchase more, but have not found the flavour they wanted in the supermarket yet.
