I tried Radnor splash orange and passionfruit still spring water, it's ideal as a refreshing drink at anytime, great for lunchboxes or an aftershock drink. It's tasty, natural and sugar free which is great. It's easy to open so no need for adults to open it for them to drink, it didn't taste as strong as we thought it would bit was still very tasty, this was our favourite thing about Radnor splash. I'd descri e ot to parents as a fruity, tasty and sugar free flavoured water in a handy pack size

My daughter tested the Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Apple). She said it was nice and refreshing, she had it after school and asked if she can have it again the next day. I liked the fact it is suitable for lunch boxes and something the children can enjoy as part of that however our school allows water only so she will have it after school as a treat. I would describe it as an apple flavoured water as it is from concentrate and quite water-y, but in a good way it is not too bad for their teeth (such as 100% juices). My daughter liked it and would not change the taste however the first carton went all over the floor when she squeezed it and it was quite full, she would also prefer a straw (which she then added) as she preferred to drink it that way.

  • Which Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try? Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Apple
  • What did your child think of the taste? She liked it, and found it sweet and refreshing
  • When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine? I offered it just generally at home. It would usually be used at weekends or when we are out and about
  • How would you describe the drink to another parent? It's a great size, tastes nice and the themed packaging is a bonus. The peel-off bit instead of a straw is handy for when an adult is around but my daughter struggled to open it as she bites her nails so couldn't grip it, which would limit being able to give it on certain occasions, e.g. for a lunchbox, for us
  • What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink? The taste
  • Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink? Make it easier to open the foil bit for people who bite their nails

Which Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try?

  • *Radnor Splash - Apple & Raspberry

What did your child think of the taste?
They thought it was ok, but preferred the cherry flavour they regularly buy at the school canteen

When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine?
Either straight after school or with dinner instead of the usual milk/water

How would you describe the drink to another parent?
A good alternative to squash/juice - a flavoured water in a convenient sized carton

What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink?
The size which was just the right amount and the fact we got it free to test! 😆

Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink?
Found the carton a bit awkward to open even as an adult, and the look/design of it made me think there should have been a straw attached but they were missing

• Which Radnor Hills drink and flavour did your child try? (Radnor Splash - Apple & Raspberry, Radnor Splash - Orange & Passion Fruit, Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Orange or Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Apple)
What did your child think of the taste?

We've got the opportunity to test Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Orange. My son likes it but I think it doesn't cover my expectations. it's too diluted and tastes cheap.

• When did you offer the drink, and how did it fit into your usual routine?

I gave him one after school on the tennis club. Before the tennis session he had light snack plus the juice. Immediately after I open it for him, he managed to make a big spill over his trousers. He enjoyed the juice but the spillage is every single time I give him juice from this brand. The size and the amount of juice is quite enough for afternoon snack and recharging before after school club, sport activities etc.

• How would you describe the drink to another parent?
Overpriced diluted sort of juice that has nothing to do with orange as per the ingredients list. I wasn't sure to laugh or cry when I checked the ingredients on the back. You think you drink Orange juice until you turn the bottle and read that 40% of the actual juice is Apple and only 10% is Orange. I'm not even going to comment the rest of the ingredients list. This should not be sold as children juice....

• What was your/your child's favourite thing about the drink?
The actual juice, I rarely allow him to drink such unhealthy things, I prefer to squeeze fresh one from real fruits. And we all know it's not possible to do that on the go, therefore the cheap / overpriced unhealthy options on the shops.
As per the packaging, he didn't bother to like it at all. It didn't grab his attention at all. It's not like he is not fan of Toy Story, it's the packaging that doesn't grab your attention.

• Is there anything you/your child would change about the drink?
He likes it the way it is, even the part of spilling some of it all over himself doesn't really bother him.
My point of view is different tho.
Definitely not going to purchase it again but I appreciate the honesty in the ingredients list. It's good to know what's going In your child's system....

wotlarks · 09/10/2026 19:55

My child tried Radnor Splash - Apple & Raspberry,

He really enjoyed the taste and said it was refreshing!

I offered it to him at home, after school.

I would describe it as convenient and definitely a hit in our household! It’s great that the packaging is recyclable, although my son did find it a little tricky to open.

His favourite thing about it: “how tasty it was”. He has asked me to buy it again.

The only thing he would change would be to add a straw.

WooYa · 09/10/2026 20:42

We got gifted the Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 Orange cartons. I gave them to DS8 and DD2 on the way out of the door for the school run. They are so handy! Both children struggle with food/drinks tastes but these were a hit! DD didnt finish all of hers each day, so DS did! DD said it was 'too spiky' which meant is was too sour, but DS didn't have any complaints. The only change we would make is the lack of straws.

Kentishbirdlife · 09/10/2026 20:56

We tried Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Orange. One of my 2 children liked it. We had it in packed lunches and so after school. The kids prefer smoothies as proper fruit juice but for a change on occasion this would be ok

We tried the Radnor Splash - orange and passion fruit. Daughter described the taste as fruity and refreshing. She had it after school. She described it as nicer than squash as not so strong. She liked the fact it was just the right size and easy to peel the tab and drink. Only thing she would change is for it to be available in more flavours.

MariaCG · 10/10/2026 20:42

My child tried the Radnor Fruits Toy Story 5 - Apple flavour.

He really enjoyed the apple flavour and said it tasted nicer than most other apple juices he has tried. Although he felt it was a little too sweet.

He tried it with afternoon tea and also after football club. It fitted nicely into our usual routine and was a refreshing little drink after being active.

Its a lovely apple drink in a handy carton that's the perfect size for little hands. I especially liked that it doesn't have a straw, as they can often be quite fiddly.

My child loved the Woody design on the carton, which made it even more appealing! He also really enjoyed the apple flavour.

The only thing we would suggest changing is the sweetness. A slightly less sweet version would be perfect!

Hello, we tried the Radnor Splash Apple juice. I think the drinks price is a little too expensive, perhaps £1.50 for three would be better value as opposed to £1.75.

My children loved the cute Toy Story 5 Designs on the packaging, this went down well with them!

The drinks were very sweet. Perhaps more water could be added to dilute a little. There is no need to add sweetener Sucralose to Apple juice as it is naturally very sweet. We felt this was an unnecessary addition.

Like the cartons as they are easily recyclable, glad they aren't plastic and adding to more plastic waste. I had to open them as they were a little tricky to get into- foil tab at the top was awkward.

Personally would prefer glass (no micro plastics so better for health) but appreciate that not everyone would like this option for children, also aware this would raise the price for the packaging.

We tried the Radnor Splash - Apple & Raspberry. my child is really picky and will normally only drink water but she really enjoyed this, they disappeared remarkably quickly! She had the drink at lunchtime on the weekend and after school. It's a healthy alternative to squash and had a lovely flavour. Child liked that it was easy to drink from the carton but did struggle with the foil spout and needed assistance opening it

ignatiusjreilly · Today 08:01

My child tried Radnor Splash Orange & Passionfruit. She loved the taste and asked me to make it a regular purchase. She's keen to try the other flavours too.

She took them to school in her lunchbox. Her favourite thing about it was the packaging design. She loved the carton shape and the fact she didn't need a straw, but she said the glue that joins the foil to the carton got in the way while she was drinking. That's the only thing she would change.

I would describe it to another parent as a healthier alternative to juice, similar to Volvic Touch of Fruit.
