Created for Amazon

We’re looking for 20 Mumsnet users with a child aged between 6-12 to test the Amazon Fire HD Kids Pro tablet (8” and 10” tablet, RRP 139.99 and RRP 199.99).

  • Selected testers will be sent either an Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet or an Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablet to test with their child.
  • Testers will have two weeks to try out a range of features as part of the ‘Parent Dashboard’ as well the web browser controls, digital store controls, voice calling, and content available on Kids+.
  • Testers will need to give their feedback via a thread on Mumsnet and complete a short survey by 30th September.
  • All testers who leave feedback will be entered into a prize draw and one MNer will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice.

Here’s what Amazon has to say:

What an awesome opportunity.

olbndanszombie · 10/09/2021 20:16

Signed up, would love to try a tablet for our youngest as it’s so difficult to know which offers the best experience for the youngsters without trying them

RuckAndRoll · 10/09/2021 20:18

Signed up. Thanks

TesticleMeElmo · 10/09/2021 20:23

Hajra5611 · 10/09/2021 20:31

Have entered thank you

FlamingoDust · 10/09/2021 20:33

Done! We have been looking at tablets for a while but there is so much choice and we want one we can monitor closely while still allowing a little freedom-this looks like it would tick those boxes!

Lifewiththedutsons · 10/09/2021 21:05

Amazing Opportunity x

GetHappy · 10/09/2021 21:07

Signed up. Me and my moms group have recently been talking about getting our children tablets for Christmas and how they can be safely used! To be able to be part of this and share this with them would be perfect

KittySlicker · 10/09/2021 21:21

This looks fab. Lockdown has shown how ill-equipped we are for devices easy enough for the kids to use with school directed accounts, not to mention learning apps/sites we’ve signed up to for them. That and I’m sick of handing over my phone and having it back dirty (or worse hearing them drop it)!

PinotAndPlaydough · 10/09/2021 21:43

Done! What an amazing opportunity

Miniangel · 10/09/2021 22:25

This would make homeschooling much easier and more fun.
Fingers crossed!

BanditoShipman · 10/09/2021 23:43

Done!

Dangermouse80 · 10/09/2021 23:43

Done. Interesting as I'm considering a tablet for my 8 yr old. Had fire tablet when younger and we still use this for younger siblings. Be good to see something for the slightly older child as it all seems either pre school or teenage.

Cleverpolly3 · 11/09/2021 00:09

Done

All done, thank you.

SnowWhitesRestingBitchFace · 11/09/2021 07:32

Done ☺️

Elh31 · 11/09/2021 07:57

Would be great to be able to try out a tablet that is safe for children to browse, we currently don’t have one to do that

toolazytothinkofausername · 11/09/2021 08:04

No. I would rather buy the regular fire for less money and put the parent controls on myself. Also, for my children I keep the tablet offline from the internet so a lot of the child features would not be useful. They play the Cbeebies games and the Toca Boca games.

Russell19 · 11/09/2021 08:36

Another great test mumsnet! Hope I'm picked this time as I'm still not over the velvetiser rejection 🤣

FlowerTink · 11/09/2021 10:01

This sounds great! I've been looking at tablets that would be fun and safe for my daughter to use.

bingowashisname · 11/09/2021 10:58

@Russell19 same here 🤣

IHateCoronavirus · 11/09/2021 12:38

Done, good luck everyone Smile
