  1. Who did you use the creme for?. Myself
  2. What skin problem(s) did they / you have? Dry, sore and sensitive skin on face, mild psoriasis on hairline and scalp
  3. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem? It provided short-term relief, but my skin condition is obviously still there and my skin is no better long-term for using it. However, when my skin is feeling very dry and tight it is nice to have something soothing to put on it. As others have said, the texture was more like an ointment than a cream.
  4. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others? I would definitely consider it depending on price point. I also agree that the packaging made it feel more of a medical product, it didn’t seem too sure whether it was a cosmetic or a medical cream, and while both areas are covered, it might be better to focus on one or the other

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I have dry itchy skin on my leg. It’s quite sore & has been red for a long time
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes. It is improving. Less itchy and the skin is much less red. I will continue to use it and expect it to get totally better.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes definitely it’s a good price and I am impressed with the treatment.

Thanks again Smile

I used the cream for myself but shared the free sachets with my mum and a friend.
I have terribly dry skin, aggravated by being hypothyroid and by working in a children’s hospice where hand washing and using antibacterial gel savages my hands.
I used the cream every day, and particularly when I was falling asleep so it could soak in overnight. The cream is reasonably thick, unscented and was easily spread. However I found it too greasy to use in the daytime, it didn’t soak in quickly so covered everything I touched!
I wouldn’t particularly recommend it - sorry - simply from the greasy texture. I tried it in my feet after each bath, but my skin felt no better to when I use Body Shop body butter.
But thank you for letting me try it!

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Just me. Once I read the ingredients, I was not happy using this on my children, despite it being described as suitable from 6 months.
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I tried as a hand cream, but Do I d too greasy. Also used behind my ears due to painfully dry "mask wearer's ear". Not a condition that I had heard of before this year!
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Hands were just regular dry, so thought this was overkill. For the dry behind ears it was very good, noticeably better after just two applications and lasted well over night.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
No, but only because I don't use products containing petroleum jelly, it did work.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
I used it myself
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry flaky skin on my nose - it happens every winter and is painless but really annoying - if I wear makeup it flakes off which looks awful
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes it did, definately reduced the flaking
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes I would - and have - recommended it. The only downside for me is that although it is unscented I thought it had a faint smell I wasn't keen on.

Many thanks for the opportunity to trial this.

1. Who did you use the creme for?
Myself and my partner.

2. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Eczema during childhood is under control, but the skin remains sensitive, easily irritable since.

3. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Too early to gauge. The product does moisturise well, but no real healing properties beyond that.

4. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Will be good for those with dry, flaky skin, but the product will have to be competitively priced to make it more appealing when compared to other similar brands.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry, red skin on face (especially in cold weather). Crocodile skin on back of hands.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes and yes. My hands improved very quickly - the skin is smoother and looks about 10 years younger! My face looks better too (but not by 10 years alas :))
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I would buy it and recommend it. It absorbs quickly, smells very neutral (not perfumed but not clinical either) and most importantly, it works. It has a very geriatric-sounding name - shades of octogenarian - which I think might deter people from trying it, whereas it's a really useful product for all ages.

  3. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes I would if at an acceptable price definitely.

Hands that were falling apart from over washing!
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes, almost overnight
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I actually bought 5 tubes of it already and highly recommended to my family who suffer from similar ravaged skin on their hands. The cream is miraculous!!! I do need to remember to use it more though as the problem comes back when I forget for a few days. I'm going to test it on my two year old's recurrent eczema too.

Absolutely on both, I think this creme is fantastic and is suitable for male and female and all ages, I shall definitely be buying this creme when I run out.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?

I used it myself and also on my son. I gave the sample sachets to my sister to use on one of her children.

  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I have dry fragile skin on my face because I use high strength retinol. My son has dry flaky patches on the inside of his elbow (probably mild eczema). My sister's child has moderate eczema.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?

Yes, in all cases. My skin can feel fragile and papery as a result of the prescription retinol that I use. Interestingly, despite being prone to acne (hence the retinol) this product did not break me out as I feared it might. I did use it sparingly on the 'danger zone' (chin) but I was pleased to finally find an intensive moisturiser that didn't cause a huge outbreak of spots!
Son's skin was soothed and it made him stop scratching at his sore patches (which in turn allowed them to heal).
I didn't get to see my sister's child with my own eyes (lockdown) but she told me that the cream significantly helped with the eczema.

  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?

I will definitely buy it again. The only off-putting thing for me was the SMELL which seemed to remind me of hospitals. However, this is a small price to pay for a cream which works so well (and I would far prefer this to it having perfume added, which would be a potential irritant.)

starlight36 · 24/11/2020 12:20
  1. Who did you use the creme for?
I used it on myself and on my 7 year old son
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Both my son and I get patches of irritated dry skin. I initially applied to be a tester to see if it would help ease my son's itching. During the trial I also burnt my arm on the oven shelf and had quite a nasty puckered scar. My son also had a scabby knee from a bad graze in the playground.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes the creme helped all issues. I was particularly impressed with how it helped the burn scar.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes I would definitely buy the creme again. A little of it certainly seemed to go a long way, much more effective than similar products we had been using.

Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I have extremely dry skin which flakes and the more i itch it the more irritated it gets
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes it really did. I feel so impressed with it...so impressed with it i have just started using it on some of my scars to see if it helps them fade (bio oil didn't work for me!). Am also pleased that it is still going and have a chance to potentially help this issue of mine too!
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
100%. Fab.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Myself (53) Son (13) Daughter (7)
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
My skin can be very irritable - dry, red and blemishes. I also had a small burn on my wrist from the cooker. My son is starting to get teenage spots/blackheads. My daughter has quite a spotty forehead/pimples by hairline.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes it was soothing - felt good on my burn and seems to have helped it to heal. I have also used it at night on blemishes on my face and they have gone by the next morning. I did not use it regularly enough on the children to know its true effect.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I might buy the creme again, depending on how expensive it was. I appreciate that it has no added scent, but I really wasn't keen on its smell. Nice and creamy, but does leave your palms feeling a bit odd.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
For me and my 9yo
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Me - general dryness and itchiness on my hands and ankles 9yo - dry winter knuckles
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
It helped a bit though not noticeably more than other moisturising creams we've tried
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I probably wouldn't buy it again because it wasn't noticeably better than some other creams I've used and I'd have preferred a fragrance . For friends and family looking for something unscented, yes.
