  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I like the description of 'fragile' skin, this is me. No particular condition like eczema but my skin generally gets irritated, dry and inflamed
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes, it's been amazing. I'm not the sort of tester who feels obliged to give a positive review in exchange for free stuff, but I'm genuinely delighted with the creme. It's really changed my skin.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I've already looked it up on Amazon, I'm surprised at how cheap it is. Will definitely buy again and recommend to others.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Inflammation and soreness, intense itching
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes, I’d apply at first sign of trouble and it seemed to head it off.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I definitely recommend it. A little goes a long way so I won’t need any just yet.

As with all creams, it works better when you remember to use it. The key for me is self care as much as the cream itself.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Myself, my husband and my 3 year old DS
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry skin on my face, husband has eczema on his hands, son has dry arms
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
It left me with a rash (not sure if because on my face) and I didn’t react well. Helped my husband & son.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
No, I probably wouldn’t buy it again. I possibly would recommend for it but not to be used on face.
CloudyVanilla · 20/11/2020 15:30

I have very fair and sensitive rosacea prone skin.

This cream was incredibly soothing and moisturing. My skin while not usually flaky does frequently feel dry and tight, but this cream made a noticeable difference and is so calming.

I also often suffer from that stinging sensation when applying creams and lotions to my face but this did not cause that!

I love the texture and feel of this cream, it is not greasy or difficult to spread and there is a certain quality or slip that I can't quite put my finger on that is so pleasant. As in, I often fine lotions either absorb right into my skin and leave it feeling quite tight still, or they sit very heavily on top and don't feel like they absorb well. There is something about this cream that feels a bit like a "second skin" - it doesn't disappear from the face but ir feels like a nice softening non greasy film over the top.

I do use this mainly as a face cream as that's where my rosacea is and have had no problems with breakouts or anything. I've also used it on my 10 month old's dry cheeks and it worked very well!

So overall a lovely cream. My face reacts to many products and this one ticked all the boxes for me.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Myself (mid thirties), my mum (early sixties)
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry and sore hands due to hand washing and hand gel.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes. Hand definitely felt better as a result of using cream.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes if the price was right I would definitely buy and recommend. I liked the way it went on- felt like an intensive moisturiser but not greasy or wet feeling on the skin.

  1. Who did you use the creme for? Me
  2. What skin problem(s) did they / you have? Dry, irritated, red patches on my face
  3. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem? Yes - after a few days the dryness went completely. It's a very intensive moisturiser, exactly what I needed. I've tried E45, Hydrocortisone cream and other daily moisturiser but none have worked as well.
  4. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others? Definitely

I use it sparingly every time the dryness creeps back and it clears it up brilliantly.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 20/11/2020 15:36

  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?

100%

CormoranStrike · 20/11/2020 15:43

Survey done.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Very dry skin irritated by just about any product
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem? It certainly did no harm - no itchiness or aggravation that I can get with almost any product. However, I forgot to use it every day, so cannot confirm.
  2. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Possibly

A little goes a very long way with this - it goes almost watery, which I didn’t love.

And date I say it, I dislike the name - it seemed to me to be named and branded for octogenarians, so that puts me off.

CloudyVanilla · 20/11/2020 15:55

And sorry for not copying the questions but just to address them:

  1. Me and my baby son
  2. Me = Rosacea and dry skin, baby = dry scaly cheeks
  3. Yes the cream helped both of us!
  4. Yes I would recommened it to anyone with dry or sensitive skin!

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry scaly patches on upper thighs; dry hands
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
No. I found the cream very heavy, sticky and hard to absorb. It was very greasy. I had to wash it off when I tried it on my hands as it left a slick on things I touched. It made very little difference to my patchy skin
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
No
GurlwiththeCurl · 20/11/2020 16:13
  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Extremely dry skin on my body, irritated and very flaky.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes, the creme worked very well and the effects lasted too. My only issue was with the thickness of the creme in that it was quite difficult to spread and left quite a greasy film on my hands. On my body, the creme sank in quite quickly, but not too much and certainly helped with dryness.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I would look for a lotion version that might spread more easily, but would consider buying it and recommending it in this format, depending on the price.
1969angep · 20/11/2020 16:26
  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me mostly with a couple of applications on my son
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Very dry, itchy and irritated skin
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes I found the creme to be very soothing. It has a rich texture which felt very nourishing but absorbed very well
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes - I found it to be very effective and I liked the fact that it came in a format that was easy to slip into my bag
JS06 · 20/11/2020 16:29

Who did you use the creme for?

Myself mainly with son using it too.

What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry flaky skin, particularly on hands which suffer after not wearing rubber gloves for kitchen duties.

Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
The cream definitely soothed and addressed the dryness and soreness, I found it to be effective immediately and was impressed with the absorbency and the way in which my skin responded.

Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Definitely

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
I used it daily as a night cream on my face before bed. My DD (15) tried it when she had a patch of dry skin.
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I have papulopustular rosacea (yes, it's as sexy as it sounds) which makes my skin very sensitive and reactive. I'm also 49 and need a good, nourishing moisturiser.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem? I'm not sure that it soothes the rosacea but it definitely didn't irritate it, which is huge. I found the cream very rich and moisturising. It worked a treat on my daughter's patch of dry skin after just one application.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others? Yes, definitely.

I find that a little goes a long way, so I imagine this tube will last me through the winter. I also like the fact that it's unscented. Some unscented products actually have some scent just from their ingredients. This cream has no scent at all, which I really like.

My only criticism is that the name is difficult to remember and doesn't really roll off the tongue. Whenever I mentioned it to friends I had to look it up. Couldn't remember what it was called.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me and 3year old son.
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry, flaky skin. Mine was mainly on my arms.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
It definitely helped, felt more soothing than other creams I've used which can sometimes sting.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes to both.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me and Dd age 7
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I had v dry scaly feet Dd had dry chapped hands from hand sanitizer.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
It actually did and worked quickly just a few applications needed
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Possibly. I thought it had a strong and not very pleasant smell that was a bit off putting but it did help our dry skin so on balance it is worth a go.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Myself, DH, DS (10) and DD (8)
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Very dry, sensitive skin on hands and wrists since lockdown and excessive handwashing started. DH in particular had extremely sore, red wrists.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes, very quickly - it sank in to the skin and soothed the itching and dryness straight away.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Absolutely. It did what it was supposed to, and the whole family are happy to continue using it.
marsiettina · 20/11/2020 17:05
  1. Who did you use the creme for? Me/Husband
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry skin / psoriasis
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Me - Yes, a bit. However, the creme was quite thick and although easy to apply, it left a feeling that you hadn’t rubbed it fully in. Husband - No, it may no difference to his psoriasis and stung him a bit on application.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
No, I wouldn’t buy this creme and wouldn’t recommend as cannot see any difference between this and other similar products.
catfeets · 20/11/2020 17:05

1 - I used this creme for myself

2 - I have very dry, cracked hands. When I used this I had open, bleeding splits on the ends of my thumbs

3 - the creme did help the splits heal much faster than they usually do

4 - I probably wouldn't buy it again as I found it very greasy so it could only be used at night. I'd recommend it to those who have a similar skin issue to me. I think it would be better used under something, such as a baby nappy due to the greasiness.

Scoleah · 20/11/2020 17:12

Who did you use the creme for?
Me & my 2 children 11 & 4

  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I have extremely dry skin on my face, eczema in my eyebrows and it's gets very sore. My both children both suffer dry itchy skin too.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
I found the cream helped the children's dry itchy skin, but with mine on my eyebrows I found it made it feel tight and even more sore. It was great to deeply moisturise but I didn't continue to use it on my eczema as i found it made it feel worse.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
As a deep, long lasting moisturiser yes, for eczema no.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Myself and my 5 year old daughter.
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
I have itchy dry Skin on my face and my daughter has eczema on her elbow creases which gets sore and itchy.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
It stopped my facial skin feeling right and dry. It helped soothe the itching from my daughter's eczema which stopped her scratching and stopped it becoming infected.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Definitely considering how reasonably priced it is
PastMyBestBeforeDate · 20/11/2020 17:24
  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Very dry and flaky skin plus a small 'wound' on my leg that had been red for months.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes for both problems. The 'wound' on my leg has noticeable healed after being red and sore for months. It has dried up, is now skin coloured again and well on the way to disappearing. I don't like the feel of the creme on my palms but it has made a noticeable difference to my skin. The backs of my hands seem less wrinkly and dry.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
Yes. My skin doesn't heal as well as it used to due to age/medical conditions and I think this will help.

  1. Who did you use the creme for? Me
  2. What skin problem(s) did they / you have? Dry skin.
  3. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem? Yes.
  4. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I think its the sort of cream I would have in the cupboard for really bad, depth of winter dry skin. It was a little too oily for every day use but also very effective, a kind of bringing out the big guns cream. The quality was very good and the consistency was just right for me.
