Who did I use the cream for - me.
What skin problems do I have? - Fragile, flaky skin on face, very damaged skin on hands due to working with cleaning products and frequent hand washing and sanitizing.
Did the cream help soothe the skin problem- possibly- I didn't use very many times, see below.
Do you think you would buy the cream or recommend? - I would not buy again or recommend. I did not like the way the cream felt on my hands or face- too thick and greasy/clammy. Straight after using it felt more like and ointment- sitting on the surface of the skin heavily. It did eventually sink in to the skin, but I just didn't like the feel of it.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Me
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Rosacea on my face and dry flaky skin on arms
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
I’m not sure it did my rosacea much good. I tried it on my face and it was ok to start but then I had a flare up and it didn’t help. Think the flare up was a bit stress related rather than due to the cream but the cream didn’t soothe. However it was very good on my arms and the dry/irritated/flaky skin on my arms.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others? I would buy it again but not use in my face. Have mentioned to others.

I used it for me, but my 4yr old likes me to share when I put skin cream on so he had some too.

I have very dry skin. I also have a job which, under current conditions requires me to wash my hands in excess of 40 times a day. A very well timed product test, its really helped! I usually like thinner creams than this, but this is very effective.

I think so. It goes a long way though, I've got plenty left!

Myself and 7 year old dd used the cream.
Dry skin on my face, knees and elbows and dd on a dry patch on her thigh.
Definitely helped dd, my knees and elbows are better, but no difference on my face.
Yes, overall I would recommend and buy again.

bertdynamite · 20/11/2020 20:40

I originally asked for the cream for me to use on my dry patches, but then my son developed an awful dry, itchy patch of skin on his wrist, so the cream was sent off to him at university.
I kept the small samples for myself, and I was really impressed last week. I dripped some candle wax on my finger and it began to feel really sore. Over the next hour I kept rubbing in small amounts of cream and the next morning there was no sign of any skin damage.
I'm going to have a look on Amazon for it because I think it will be very useful to have around the house.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?
Myself, dh, 17yo dc
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Me: ageing, sensitive, allergic skin that dries out easily and often cracks when irritated by an allergen or the cold. Also a scar. Dh: dry palms and splitting fingertips. Dc: sensitive skin that gets rough and itchy in places
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Me: moisturised and prevented cracking, but I reacted to it. Dh: moisturised and prevented splitting. Dc: no change.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
No.

We all found the cream excessively thick - good for small areas like scars, but difficult to apply to large areas like legs. It also didn’t absorb well - dh had to go to bed wearing gloves, no matter how little he used.

It was moisturising, but after a week’s use the skin where I was applying it started to tingle and burn. It felt exactly like my allergic response, but never progressed to the blisters. I stopped using it, applied my usual treatment, and tried again a couple of weeks later once everything has calmed down. Same reaction.

None of my allergens are listed in the ingredients, but I react similarly to other heavy-duty moisturisers containing paraffin wax, so am beginning to suspect it may be the problem.

  1. Who did you use the creme for?

Myself

  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?

I just have really painfully dry skin caused by an auto immune condition

  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
Yes,not as much as I would have hoped but I think it might be that I started using at the point central heating etc started making my skin worse so the two balanced each other out.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?

Possibly. Am going to keep going with the cream as it is soothing. I would love the branding /packaging to be a little less clinical and bleak though

cookiemonster66 · 21/11/2020 00:20

I used the cream myself I get very itchy skin which is very dry and scratch till I bleed like red hot ants crawling on me. I also get spots which take ages to heal. The cream really helped heal the skin but did feel sticky and my skin struggled to absorb it so was sticky for ages. Very pleased how quickly it healed up. Yes would buy again if within budget.

  1. Who did you use the creme for? Myself and kids (5 and 1)
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have? Me - dry skin on feet and back of my upper arms. Kids general dry winter skin
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem? It really softened my feet, but I didn’t love the greasy feeling so was only using it before bed. I found it too rich/thick for the kids, but possibly because their skin wasn’t dry enough in the first place!
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others? Yes as I’m pleasantly surprised with how reasonably priced it is online
Dizzywizz · 21/11/2020 10:56

ExcavatorHater · 21/11/2020 11:42
  1. Who did you use the creme for?
I used the cream for myself and my 2 year old son.
  1. What skin problem(s) did they / you have?
Dry, itchy, sore, chapped skin especially at this time of year! My son also has a small amount of eczema.
  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?
It worked really well actually. I was using it at least once a day on myself and after my son had a bath each night. It has really helped keep my skin from drying out! And helps the redness of my son's skin a lot too.
  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I am definitely going to buy it again. It's a really thick cream when you apply it, it doesn't have that greasy feel to it though which I was pleased about as some creams are too greasy! It sinks in pretty fast too considering how thick and moisturising it was! Really lovely cream, some creams can sting if you apply on chapped skin, but this one didn't! Really shocked at how cheap it was too when I checked online!

  1. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem?

  1. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others?
I did like it, but don’t think I’d choose it over other brands as it felt very thick and took a long time to sink in.

  3. Did the creme help soothe the skin problem? She had a reaction to it (a very red rash). It helped my hands but was greasy & took a while to absorb.
  4. Do you think you’d buy the creme again or recommend it to others? No, we didn’t have a great experience with it. I also really disliked the smell which seemed chemically to me.
Skinandbones · 21/11/2020 14:39
  1. I used the creme on all of us, 4 adults
  2. 3 of us have eczema, mine is mild and comes and goes, daughter has patchy eczema all over and hubby has had it since birth, his feet, hands and one arm is quite bad, dry flakes and bleeding.
Son has builders hands and he thought the creme was brilliant.
  1. It worked straight away on my son and he said his hands felt alot better.
Myself and my daughter liked it too, though we thought it could feel a little tacky, even when we reduced the amount. Hubby found it worked quite well for him and it didn't make his eczema worse as some cremes can. He didn't use it on open skin that was bleeding or weeping.
  1. I would definitely buy it as it worked quite well on us all and I would recommend it.
