This is the feedback thread for the 120 MNers with at least one child aged 0 to 13 who have been testing Cushelle Facial tissues.

Here’s what Cushelle have to say: “In 2019 Cushelle entered the facial tissue category with a brand-new range of products. Not only are the Cushelle Facial tissues irresistibly soft, they offer a unique point of being washing machine resistant. The tissues are so strong that they will stay intact even if accidently washed, leaving no fluffy residue on clothing.”

I have had tissues disintegrating in the wash, but I haven’t tried it with cushelle tissues.

1. How soft did you think Cushelle Facial Tissues were? Would you want to use them during cold season?

They were quite soft. My son has a cold at the moment, but he hasn’t had a sore nose since using these.

Nice and soft and very strong.

Yes many times when I've not checked the kids and my partners pockets.

Yes! I put on a dark wash with some of the tissues to put them to the test, no residue left on the clothes when I pulled them out of the machine! Amazing

Very soft, felt alot softer than the normal facial tissues I use.

Would you want to use them during cold season?

Yes, I'd use them all year, being a family of 6 there is always someone with a cough/cold/runny nose.

I loved the pink/purple cube pack, which is sitting in my lounge at the moment. We have also made use of the handy packs for the kids to take to school and to go in my handbag.

Yes have definitely had tissues in the wash before and had bits all over dark clothes - nightmare! This is great, even though I do check pockets before things go in the wash, they sometimes still get in there.

1. How soft did you think Cushelle Facial Tissues were? My daughter thought they were much softer than the usual supermarket ones I buy. Would you want to use them during cold season? Yes, I would definitely buy them.

I thought they were good. I liked the design of the cube and felt that the tissues didn't rip as often as they sometimes do with the square boxes.

I frequently have tissue-related incidents in the wash. Difficult to know what will happen with these. I was tempted to wash one to find out but having just picked out yet another a pile of bits from DC's jeans I wasn't brave enough.

3. How soft did you think Cushelle Facial Tissues were? Would you want to use them during cold season?

They were soft but not as soft as others. I'd use them but still prefer the ones that come with a balm.

I liked them. Very soft and thick. The box was pretty too though it was a bit bashed when it arrived so I didn’t want to put it where anyone would see it.

I have had too many tissue washing disasters. I considered washing one of these deliberately but couldn’t bring myself to as it’s honestly one of those things that makes me sink to the floor and cry when it happens, which is invariably on a dark wash, at midnight before the kids go back to school. I’m not sure I’m 100% confident but they do feel much more robust than the usual tissues I’d buy.

They are very soft . I’d normally use balsam tissues if I have a cold and I’m not sure these would be a substitute, however I’d be prepared to give them a try the next cold I get.

Have ended up with suprise tissues in the wash many times from a toddler helping me with the washing. Cushelle ones survived the wash!

Very soft and will definitely purchase when they are on sale at a good price.

Yes, plenty of times with my two sons. Yes they definitely would.

They were lovely and soft. My husband got a cold 2 days after receiving them so was used rather quickly. But he didn't get such a sore nose as usual which we put down to the softness of the tissues.

Hi @justinebmumsnet have you received my emails about not getting the product until last Thursday? I've replied numerous times to you and not had any replies despite you emailing me asking to do the survey a few times.

Anyway, in my limited time using them...

They seemed more durable than most tissues but not enough to make me switch. I also worry about them biodegrading and flushing as they are washing machine-proof.

Yes, many. Yes but the environment factor worries me.

I didn't think they were as soft and would still go for a balsam tissue. I wouldn't want to use them for a cold.

Excellent, soft but strong. I got the black/white with green leaves box. It looks good, I actually have a scented candle that matches, so that pleased me

I didn't and was too scared to put one into the machine. I did wet one though and it held together very well.

Great packaging and the tissues themselves were soft but robust (if that makes sense

My husband ALWAYS leaves tissues in his trousers before he puts a wash on so there ends up being bits of tissue everywhere! Because these tissues were robust, I think they would not disintergrate into loads of pieces.

Very soft. Yes I would!

1. Have you ever had a tissue-related washing disaster? Yes many times sadly but not with these but with my usual supermarket brand. Partners black work clothes and bits of tissues stuck all over, not a good look!!!

Yes for sure as as much as i try I always miss tissues hidden away in pockets and th
ese didn't fall apart on the wash.

These were super soft and arrived just at the right time to test as we were all full of cold, no red sore noses with these as they are super soft.

Would you want to use them during cold season?
Yes 100% as they are the only tissues I've used that are super soft and don't fall apart when you use them or in the wash. I have already swapped to these from my usual brand.

We did actually come down with colds as they arrived! Not as soft as my usual brand, but I didn't notice as much soreness as with a basic tissue.

Definitely tried them in my machine ( brand new washing machine I might add ) have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to no paper dots all over the clothes.
