This is the feedback thread for the 120 MNers with at least one child aged 0 to 13 who have been testing Cushelle Facial tissues.

This was our box and it was fine. I'm not a particularly fussy person when it comes to tissue boxes and this was OK.

1. we (my children & I) loved the little travel packs. We each took one in our work/school bags. I thought the hankies were of excellent quality
2. lots of tissue disasters: despite always checking pockets etc. It drives me NUTS but always have no one to blame but myself... happily it didn’t happen with these Cushelle hankies. I’m actually tempted to try it out to see if they really don’t shed in the machine
3. they were lovely & soft, super quality. The tissues in the cube box actually came out one at a time too, which was delightful. I get really mad when tissues come out in a huge bundle as they’re not properly intertwined (or however they should be in the box!).

1. What did you think of Cushelle Facial Tissues? Nice packaging, and tissues came out easily, one by one. They were fine - like several PP, we have colds at the moment so got through quite a few in a week.
2. Have you ever had a tissue-related washing disaster? Do you think Cushelle Facial Tissues would help you avoid this? Yes, washing machine disasters on a weekly basis. However, annoying as they are, I honestly would choose the dreaded shredded tissue bits over a product that doesn't disintegrate in the wash as I'd be concerned about the environmental impact. How long do these tissues take to biodegrade? Is there plastic in them?
3. How soft did you think Cushelle Facial Tissues were? Would you want to use them during cold season? Very soft and gentle, comparable to the usual Balsam tissues we use when we have colds and want to avoid soreness.

Over all liked them, felt quite strong and didnt come apart even after several uses!

I have more than I would like to admit too ! Nothing looks as bad as a pair of black skinny jeans covered in tissue fluff around the pocket.

These tissues felt much stronger than I expected and they didnt seem to disintegrate when full of well snot! I m sure I am not the only one who has held a tissue and said blow only for it to come apart and you get a hand full! This didnt happen with these so I am hopeful that if they do get left in a pocket they wont break

I didnt think they were particularly soft unfortunately and I can image that with continued use they might leave your nose a bit sore

I really liked the tissues, they were lovely and soft to use. The cube packaging was great too and easy to open (which isn't always the case with tissue boxes).

Yes I have had tissue washing disasters. I was brave enough to wash one of these and can confirm that it stayed in one piece. My only worry is how biodegradable the tissues are?

Super soft! Yes, would definitely want these if I had a cold.

I really liked them. Always like to have a pocket sized tissue handy and the box design was attractive so looks great in our guest room. I’d definitely buy more of the boxes. The tissues themselves are lovely and soft.

I haven’t thankfully but it’s good to know I won’t if I use Cushelle!

Lovely and soft and don’t seem like they’d rip my nose to shreds, one of the worst things about having a cold. I’d definitely give them a go.

We have had PLENTY of tissue wash disasters. It's so annoying when it happens because even when I check pockets, there seems to often be one I miss. Then there is a massive clear up to do as tissue bits not only contaminate all the clothes leaving that speckly look but also fall all over the floor in the kitchen near the washing machine, then on the floor near the tumble drier and then upstairs on my bedroom floor for the items going on the airer etc etc.

Cushelle tissues would save me a lot of hassle in this respect!

1. How soft did you think Cushelle Facial Tissues were? Would you want to use them during cold season?

Softer than I expected but firm / strong too - i.e. didn't get bits of fluff up my nose like some tissue brands. I've had a cold recently so these have been a good alternative between my regular "man size" tissues and the soft balm ones I would use for a cold but which seem too flimsy. So these are soft but still strong enough and big enough each to use for colds.

1. I liked these tissues, they were nice and soft and strong too!
2. I've no idea how the tissues escape my notice but they do often end up in the washing machine, and I only realise when the white fluff is over all the jumpers.
3. I found the tissues were very soft and I would certainly use these during cold season.

This discussion reminds me of my twin nephews when they came to stay with me as toddlers. I told one of them to clean his nose, and he pulled a washed and dried lumpy tissue from his pocket. The other twin said to the other, 'you can't use that, it's dirty!' to which he replied, 'Its clean, its been in the washing machine!'

I love them. We have all had colds this week so they came in very handy and were poular in our house. So much so that we used these rather than our normal brand. They were excellent.

Forever having tissue washing disasters. Why can people not check their pockets before throwing something in the machine??! I actually had this happen this week, everyone with colds meant tissues in pockets. One I didn’t catch before washing. The washing was not covered in millions of pieces of tissue, very impressed.

They were really soft. I usually end up with a red, peeling nose with a cold but not at all this week. Perfect for children to.

Don’t know if I’m being silly though, I didn’t even notice a koala on our box!!

I thought they were ok, I didn’t think they stood out from other branded tissues especially although my children really liked the design of the box.

Yes loads of times I’ve had to re-wash laundry because of a stray tissue. I believe these tissues will prevent that but I was too scared to test it out myself!

I thought they were quite soft but not remarkably. I would use them if I had a cold as they are absorbent and a good size but the softness wouldn’t really be a factor in my decision as I didn’t find them outstandingly soft.

2. Have you ever had a tissue-related washing disaster? Do you think Cushelle Facial Tissues would help you avoid this? Absolutely, I have had to shake laundry then redo a wash several times before now
3. How soft did you think Cushelle Facial Tissues were? I have had softer and more flexible, but they were right up at the soft end and felt like they would perform well .

Would you want to use them during cold season? you may end up using less of them as they appear to not just distigrate, definitely a good choice for a cold. My daughter squealed with delight at the box, the koala with the pop out features really appealed to her so the box is in her room , but maybe for a grown up space they are not my choice. I think at the price although little more than some other brands still presents good value considering the quality .

We enjoyed testing these tissues. I liked the box and they came out easily and individually which is a plus.

Had plenty of tissue mishaps in the past and realised this morning I'd sent a tissue through again! It didn't disintegrate which was nice and instead stayed together and was easy to dispose of.

I would consider buying these again in the price was ok. They were nice and soft and could use them when we had colds etc.

Nice soft good quality tissues. We have had the usual seasonal coughs and colds which these have proved excellent for.

We have had numerous tissue in the wash incidents over the years and I really hope these live up to their promise that they won’t disintegrate but I haven’t tested this yet.

Boys loved their little packets to put in school bags and they agree they are soft on their skin- no sore noses!

I would buy but I do like a choice of packaging to match the room.

Nice and soft, easy to open handy packets and the box is simple to use and attractive to have out - we were given one with a tropical houseplant design over black and white stripes.

We are always having tissues left in pockets and depositing many flecks over dark items. We have had a couple of these left in the message but they have stayed a whole sheet -similar to if a wet wipe gets into the wash - rather than disintegrating.

The tissues are nice and soft, my DD is definitely appreciating them as she has a particularly sore nose from a lingering cold. Definitely a hit in our household.

Yes, often. What a pain. If these work as they say, it would be a plus point. I'm not going to try it out though!

They weren't the softest I've tried. The Kleenex Balsam are better in that respect. But they were fine.

Both daughters loves the design of the cube (koala with pop out arms and ears, cute).
I found the weight of each tissue to be of a good, high quality. My daughters liked them the most but I prefer Costco ones as they are slightly softer, possibly due to being a little thinner so more flexible, but I do blow my nose at least once an hour, grrr.
Pocket packets always handy.

As they seem thicker than the other brand I buy and don’t seem to go as soggy when full of mucus I think they may wash ok.

Really liked them soft strong and in an easy to open box. The opening means no handfuls of tissues stuffed back in the box as they come out singularly and no ripped tissues. Great design for me as I have poor grip in my hands and find the usual little circle opening awful.

Yes frequently and in the interest of science I put one in with a wash. The claims are true I’ve included a photo!

I was delighted to get picked for the test! My oldest daughter always leaves tissues in her pockets - always! I try to always empty her pockets, but at least every other week, one gets missed - worst is pyjamas with pockets, which I don't always think of! Worst is always leaving them in jeans, so the dark load is covered with destroyed tissues. Sooooo, I was excited to find that there was a tissue designed to solve this problem!

We have regular tissue related washing disasters! My daughter tricked me and wanted to test these tissues. So she tucked one into the small phone pocket of her gym leggings. And guess what??? It came out 100% in tact! I wondered like other testers, if this meant it wouldn't be eco friendly. But I was able to easily shred the wet tissue with my fingers. BUT it didn't come apart in the wash. So I'm satisfied!

We really liked our tissues. Came at a good time both my DS and I had a heavy cold. I was surprised at how strong they felt. They did not feel cheap and did not come apart. We loved d the design of the box. My children thought it was super cute!

We have had to many tissue disasters to name! My children manage to have tissues lodged all all sorts of places in their clothes. My children wanted to test your claim that they would not dissolve but I was to scared 🙈🤣

They were very soft to use. As I mentioned 2 of us had a heavy cold and they did not irritate our faces when we used them despite having sore skin under the nose. We usually use Tesco own and I could really feel the difference in quality.
I honestly would use these again. We were very happy with them.

Sadly, the big box of tissues was completely flattened, I think as a result of our delivery driver pushing them through a fairly narrow letter box so I can’t comment on the box itself but the tissues are excellent. DH and dcs have all mentioned liking them a lot and have asked me to buy again, as apparently they are better than the usual supermarket own brand variety. Our box is/was green; I would definitely prefer purple packaging so will look out for it. All the dcs liked the mini packs and tell me that their friends liked the tissues too. They did mention that the tissues felt thicker than the usual mini pack ones I buy, although they didn’t mind it. There were some grumbles that only one of the packs had a koala on: dc2 (12) has requested koalas on every pack!

So so so many, I’ve lost count over the years. For some reason my eldest dc is the worst offender and still regularly leaves tissues in his school trousers when they go in the wash. I think my worst was when I washed my posh black dress with dc1s uniform ahead of a really big job interview and had to spend absolutely hours picking bits of white tissue off it.....I could have cried!

As above: they felt former than usual brand but still soft. All dcs have confirmed that they would like to me to buy them in future.

I liked the cute koala packaging as did my son, who loved having his own little pack to take to school. I thought they felt lovely and soft compared to other tissues.

With a 7 year old and a husband with allergies, tissues get left in pockets A LOT so we have a lot of tissue related washing disasters! I felt a bit of a rebel but I left a tissue in my black jeans pocket on purpose just so I could test the claim that they don't fall apart in the the wash - and it didn't! I was well impressed!!

Strangely enough within a week of the tissues arriving, my husband, son and I all came down with colds! Normally we will just use toilet tissue to blow our noses etc as it's rare we will have a box of tissues around. I found the Cushelle tissues lovely and soft on my nose, they didn't fall apart when full of snot (sorry to be graphic!) and I think having his own little packet of tissues at school actually encouraged my son to blow his nose meaning he wasn't all bunged up come home time. Would definitely use these tissues again.

I was very impressed with how soft and strong they were. My box design was a plain dark purple which I wasn’t completely sold on, there was nothing which would have made it stand out against others on a shelf.

I didn’t test putting one in a washing machine but it is an issue I have very regularly in my household. I am reassured that other posters have tested and they have held up well, I would definitely buy them for this reason.
